This is a fantastic and memorable accommodation. Staying in Pietrapertosa was a highlight of our trip in Italy. Words cannot do justice to the views of this place. Be prepared to walk some steps, our 3 and 5 year olds did them, but it's very much worth it.

A cosy house with two bedrooms, modern facilities and splendid view from the balcony. A stylish touch to the interior is an actual piece of the rock wall. The hosts are most welcoming and helpful. Can't recommend the place enough - albeit short, out stay was lovely.

This was a lovely little apartment.Very clean and comfortable. Marianna was wonderful. We had a problem with our car and she found us a mechanic.

“Fantastic view from balcony!”
The view from the balcony was fantastic! We so much enjoyed our dinner with wine on the small balcony, overlooking the lush green hills and beautiful mountain-town. Host met us at parking (about 2 Euros a day, 5mins walk away) in front of Police station on main road and walked us to the apartment. A really lovely, quiet, good sized 2 bedroom apartment with all the facilities we needed. Loved the rock feature wall

“A one-night mountain idyll”
Pietrapertosa is the highest village in the Basilicata mountains - spectacular, humble, tiny. Marianna was straightforward and helpful, and the apartment was perfect - gorgeous views, and both a sense of history and all modern needs. You could spend hours on the front step in the sun looking out over the valley....

“We had a wonderful weekend getaway.”
The apartment is in the center of town. Even so, it was easy to find parking not so far away. We didn't cook but if we had wanted to, the kitchen was well equipped. The host, Marianna, was very nice and very helpful.

“Good design and good view.”
The location is good, it takes a couple of minutes to climb there, but the view from the balcony is amazing.

Stunning modern apartment with cool cave wall. Everything is brand new. You can drive almost to the door to drop your bags, as long as your car isn't enormous. Host was friendly and helpful. The village itself is breathtakingly beautiful and the apartment is well located for walking etc.
