“Worth staying just to experience the sheer beauty of the building”
Incredible historic lived in building . The central courtyard was absolutely stunning as was the entrance and stairwells with painted ceilings . Beautiful breakfast with a good choice of local products . We ate in the evening in the courtyard it was ok again amazing setting but the wine was excellent and local . The owner was very charming friendly and accommodating

“Cherry on top of a very special long weekend trip.”
-The building is gorgeous, a hidden gem, worth the whole stay. -Strategical location halfway through Tuscany and Umbria. -The hosts are super nice and respectful, they did an amazing job reshaping this historical palace.

“Amazing abbey full of history with modern day convenience”
It was amazing staying in a building with so much history and at the same time have all the modern convenience (and decoration) in your room. The breakfast room has an amazing ceiling and the cakes for breakfast are delicious. There was also a gluten free section with (prepackaged) biscuits, bread etc. Also outdoors is beautiful and the property has it’s own chapel. There is also a lot to do in the area. From the delicious lunch we had in Panicale to cycling around Lago Trasimeno.

“Perfect stay”
The Abbey is perfection. It is old and gorgeous. So much history. We love it there. We had a small kitchen, it was useful. Wifi did't work properly on our first night but it got better. Shared kitchen and the garden are lovely. You can make your own breakfast. Only thing missing was vegetables and fresh bread. Fruit is available. Hosts are so nice and friendly. Everything is near if you want to explore Umbria by car. We would love to go back one day.

“A fabulous place for everyone”
This was the most amazing place I’ve booked EVER. Living in a renovated monastery has some fabulosity in itself but whit this hospitality it’s a non-expected experience.The room was clean, warm and cozy , the garden is beautiful and the breakfast they prepared for us was also perfect (with home made honey and jams). And if it’s not enough , they also welcome pets too (it was a huge plus for us). Thanks for having us! 😊

This property is incredibly beautiful. Every corner has been thoughtfully cared for and you feel surrounded by beauty everywhere you look. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, in Italy. The shower was amazing also. We enjoyed our stay and the owner, Annalisa was so hospitable and kind. The location is perfect for exploring Umbria and Perugia. An amazing find!!
