“A small-scale camping site with only good vibes and lot of place.”

The campsite is located a few kilometers from Pierrefond Castle and is very peacefully situated in an open field in the woods around Pierrefond, with plenty of space around our tent. Those seeking luxury and WIFI are better off booking elsewhere. Those seeking peace and quiet will find what they're looking for here. There are various board (and other) games in the common area. I like this place a lot!

I had an amazing stay at Chez Tombivouac, a charming place nestled in the forest. Thomas, the host, is incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. I spent one night in a tent, which was cozy, comfortable, and surrounded by the tranquility of nature. The bathroom facilities were spotless, and it was great to have a common area to cool down during the hot summer day. Chez Tombivouac is also very child-friendly, not only because of the excellent facilities but also because they've just started a pet farm. It's a wonderful addition for families with kids. Plus, they have a very sweet and calm dog that adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was another highlight of my stay—delicious, fresh, and straight from a local baker in a nearby village. Thomas’s hospitality truly went above and beyond. On the day of my departure, he even cycled with me to Pierrefonds and gave me a tour around the stunning castle and the nearby forest. I can't recommend Chez Tombivouac enough and will definitely be returning. Such a fantastic experience!

“Comfortable and tranquil once you find it.”

The accommodation was the prospector’s style tent and it was exceptionally comfortable and clean. The games room was well stocked with board games and lots of video games which the kids loved. The toilets and showers were ok and clean.

The camping is beautifully located on a field in a nice hilly and wooded surrounding not far from Pierrefonds. The biggest plus though was the hospitality of the owner who was very kind and even took me for a walk. The breakfast was wonderful too; delicious and wonderfully presented. All in all a perfect and memorable stay.

Amazing quiet location by the forest. The hut was really comfortable and clean, and Thomas was a great host.

We had a wonderful night chez Tombivouac. Beautiful location, comfortable, clean. Our 5 year old was so happy to stay here; we made lovely memories, watching the stars and listening to the owls. Thomas offers a warm welcome and is always available. Great breakfast on the terrace. I highly recommend stopping here for a beautiful experience.

Beautiful green and quiet location, very friendly host, sleeping in nature and enjoying the silence as there was noone else when we were there. Clean toilets and shower, normally shared with other people. Beds were good, we slept well. Breakfast was sufficient and brought to the tent. we enjoyed our stay and loved the beautiful 'camping-like' setup. It is nothing like a hotel or b&b but the outdoors experience was fantastic!!

“Nature all around you.”

Place is amazing, miles away from town and road in the midst of nature. Host is very friendly, even offered to pick us up by car in town after late night dinner. Excellent choice if you like stillness, rest and nature around you.
