We loved everything. The property was very beautiful and clean, the breakfast was delicious and with good options, the staff was really friendly and helpful , the host offered us towels without asking on our second day as we went on ‘Terme di Saturnia’ that was 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the property, 15 minutes away by car from Pienza and the place of ‘Gladiator’. We enjoyed our stay there and will go back for sure as we still have a lot to see on Tuscany.

Hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Location was beautiful and quiet. Wonderfully large room and bathroom. Very clean.

We absolutely loved everything, especially that the house and the rooms were stylish and newly renovated. The host and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, because it is close to the famous toscan villages. The breakfast was home made and delicious.

“We had an amazing stay in this beautiful and clean podere at the perfect location in val d’orcia”

We had such an amazing stay at Podere Gonzaga! The staff was so so friendly, always a smile and making you feel so welcome. It was my husbands birthday and they gave us the biggest and prettiest room that was a picture perfect with a beautiful view on val d’orcia. Also a wine as a present and flowers when we left. The bed and shower was really comfortable. The podere was really clean and smelled delicious. The breakfast was small but all you needed with fresh products from the area (different meats, cheese and yoghurt) and home made pastery. Also lactose free milk was available for coffee. We felt safe and secure with the podere being closed at night and the private entrance with the gate. The location was close by (15-30 min) all the villages and must sees of val d’orcia. We had the best stay and would highly recommend.

During the holiday in Italy, we had 4 accommodations, this was the most beautiful of them. Great people, hospitality, tasty breakfast from local ingredients, cleanliness, quiet, peace and perfect location for trips. We recommend to everyone who wants to visit Tuscany! Thank you :)

“A Little Bit of Heaven”

Staying at the Podere Gonzaga is like experiencing a little bit of Heaven. The podere sits in beautiful countryside and has been lovingly restored. The entrance hall and our room were spotlessly clean and welcoming. The first thing that greets you is the wonderful Tuscan fragrances used in the building. When you open your bedroom windows, you look out on to beautiful countryside and rustic scenery. The silence, especially at night, was only broken by the birdsong or occasional tractor. The owner Michele, is exceedingly kind and helpful. We visited with our toddler grandson and Michele provided a cot, high chair and microwave, which was just perfect. Michele also played the piano for our little grandson, which was a lovely touch (he is a very talented musician but seems to be very modest about this!). Michele also helped us to prioritise the places nearby to visit. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. Thank you Michele (and Isabella and Daria) for sharing Podere Gonzaga with us for our brief stay!

Beautiful property, very well presented room. Charming with lots of character. Room was very spacious and modern and well presented with everything needed. The hosts are very warm and welcoming. Was great chatting to learn more about their background and the area. The breakfast was delicious and included lots of local produce such as the cheese the area is famous for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Podere Gonzaga. 5*

“The best stay I had in Tuscany”

The best Host!Very polite and helpful! The room was very spacious with amazing decoration to the detail. It was even better in person than the photos. Also very good location near to all the beautiful villages and of course the landscapes of Val D’Orcia.
