“Peaceful stay in Toscana”
The location was perfect and even for us, not having a car, for 3 days we didnt feel any discomfort. Its easy to take a walk to Pienza or around the area, for example Gladiator shooting spot and we took bicycles the other day to have a tour around the area. Peaceful, calm, beautiful place, exactly what we were looking for. Penuccia is very hospitable, comes to say hi every morning and cares about guests. Breakfast was just enough, all fresh, each guests have their own table in front of the room with a beautiful view on the olive trees. Sunsets incredible! We would definitely consider coming again.

We had a fantastic 4-day stay at Le Traverse. We were looked after brilliantly, the highlight being the freshly prepared breakfast each morning - some of the best cakes and pastries I’ve ever had! The views from the property are stunning, overlooking Pienza. It was spotlessly clean.

It was exactly as described. The property was set in beautiful surroundings. The owner of the property and staff were very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Will definitely be back next year.

“Awesome!”
The location was outstanding with excellent Tuscany landscapes and a great view of Pienza. Very peaceful, this place is ideal to recharge your battery by spending the day at the pool and visit numerous little towns around Pienza including great wine cellars. The owner lady was so warm welcoming and helpful to give information and recommendations while the staff was very friendly and helping. Very nice breakfast with a daily homemade bread and cake. We will definitely go back!

“Peaceful, friendly, relaxing”
Excellent location overlooking Val d’Orcia, just a few minutes from Pienza but extremely peaceful. A perfect base for cycling, walking or driving tours. We were very well looked after throughout our stay, and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast every day.
