“Fabulous host”
The place was lovely, in a rural setting so very peaceful. Caroline was an amazing host and kindly took me to the supermarket and bakery as it was too far to walk there. This was an amazing offer. Breakfast was lovely with Caroline making a chocolate banana bread which was very popular with my husband and son. Pool was kitted out with inflatables and balls. Unfortunately when we came to leave there was no water-an unexpected issue to required repairs. Caroline kindly let us use the showers when the water came back on which was after check out time. Again above and beyond. Would I recommend here, yes definitely.

“A peaceful base to explore the highlights of the region.”
Our room was spacious and comfortable and had the bonus of a claw foot bath which was very welcome as it was very cold when we stayed. It was good to be able to use the breakfast room whenever we liked to give more of a home from home feel. We also appreciated being able to do a load of washing. Caroline and her husband were very friendly and we were very happy with our choice to stay at La Garoffe.
