“Rural heaven”
Loved the isolation, the incredible views, surrounded by nature. This isn't a 5 star hotel and shouldn't be booked if you are expecting luxury. What you do get is an honest property for the location. Surrounded by farming it comes with the honesty and love of the sicillian family that runs it. It is a comfortable rural property with all the basics you need for a short stay. We can't comment on cooking facilities as we ate cold foods..it was too hot for anything else. Beds are really comfy. Erma and her husband were absolutely lovely and brought organic treats for us. Loved it!!!!!!

“Great holiday home in a rural location”
The location was excellent! The house is surrounded by countryside, but only 5 miles from Piazza Armerina for shopping. We loved the location and the fruit and vegetables that are grown on site, including the prickly pears 🍐! Our hosts were friendly and helpful and provided a great breakfast for a small additional fee. Would strongly recommend this place for travellers that want a peaceful, relaxing holiday with great hosts.

This is a hidden gem and exceeded all our expectations. Our hosts Erma and Salvo were incredibly hospitable and very generous. We did not want to leave. Finally we left with a bottle of the most delicious olive oil and tomato relish from produce off their farm. We collected our own fresh eggs from their hens for breakfast. It was country charm at its best. The wild flowers in the surrounding nature were simply stunning. Our whole experience in this quiet beautiful area has left us with happy, happy indelible memories. We would highly recommend anyone thinking of choosing Piazza Amerina as a stop over to stay with you. Thank you Erma and Salvo - it was such a pleasure to meet you.
