Overview
Set in beautiful countryside less than 1km from Piazza Armerina, Villa Trigona is an 18th-century building with large gardens, where you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and numerous sports. Once home to Sicilian nobles, Villa Trigona’s elegant rooms and lounges still contain antiques. Rooms have lovely countryside views and on site you will find a lounge with an old fireplace, a small library and a TV room. In Villa Trigona’s parkland stroll through pinewoods and olive groves, or play bowls, table tennis or board games. An outdoor pool with hydromassage is available. Try your hand at archery or take the hotel’s bikes out and explore. Horse rides can also be organised and children have their own outdoor playground. Villa Trigona is well known for its friendly hospitality and its excellent cuisine. A sweet and savoury breakfast featuring local products is served outside in the courtyard in summer. Sicilian cuisine is available at lunch and dinner on request.

“A beautiful villa to stay during road trip”
Hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind! Dinner was great and the Villa itself is very cozy and beautiful! We only spent one night there as it had perfect half-way location between Catania and Agrigento. Would definitely enjoy the place for longer aswell.

Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. Lovely dinner in the evening. Pool was amazing and we had drinks by the pool which was utter heaven. Easy to find, close to shops etc. parking was great. Beds comfy.

“Clean , varied breakfast , good parking facilities - very enjoyable”
Off the beaten track but still close to the city - the gardens and pool are really nice. Breakfast was excellent. The cats in the courtyard added a nice touch

Lovely old 'farmhouse' hotel (12-13 rooms?) with great atmosphere, helpful staff and delicious variety of Fixed Menu evening meal. Full of antiques and old paintings / prints. Relaxed atmosphere with shady courtyard and pool that looked good (though too cold that day for us to make use of it). Only a few minutes drive from the stunning UNESCO Villa Romana del Casale - gobsmacking Roman Villa and mosaics. Wow!

The hotel has a nice garden and beautiful surroundings. It is a good location if you want to visit Villa Romana del Casale. The breakfast was delicious. The pool looks nice but we were too early in the year to use it.

We stayed in a spacious quadruple room which was nice and warm (we were there in the winter). Beds were comfortable and we slept well. Excellent choice of homemade cakes and jams at breakfast.

“Glad I stayed at this place 😊”
The peace and tranquillity are exceptional. The staff was amazing especially Elena. Very very Clean. Walks in the green fields and woods. Parking available on site and very safe. Very clean pool. Service and food excellent in every way.
