The hotel is at a great location, affordable and in great shape. The hostess helped us figure out the schedule of bus shuttle to villa romana del casale (that day was June 2, national holiday). Absolutely 10/10.

“Fantastic location, clean”

Friendly and helpful staff, room and facilities are super clean which would impress those with OCD. It has a nice regency decor mixed with railway travel of the 1940s. Location is perfect, very close to Bus drop off from Catania. They sorted a cheap taxi, return to Villa del Casale, named Roberto. My first night in Sicily and made me feel very welcome there. Thank you.

“Amazing and helpful staff”

Rosanna and her sister was very very helpful and friendly, and did everything to make me feel welcome. The room was nice and clean and in the breakfast area they offered free water, coffee and juice.. ( the little almond cakes with a cherry in are SO good) I fully recommend staying at La Stazione

The breakfast was excellent. There were lots of things to eat (including traditional Sicilian almond cakes) and drink at any time of day, not only at breakfast time. On top of that we had vouchers for breakfast in the bar next door. Excellent

Lovely accommodation in the historic former railway station building. Easy private parking. Very handy location for visiting the nearby Roman Villa, which is totally amazing.

“Best Hotel in Sicily”

An actual train station that has been turned into one of the most unique boutique hotels I have ever stayed. Decorated as if you are stepping back in time to that romantic era when it was built, yet everything is new & modern, with extra touches like a 5 star hotel, fresh flowers, toiletries, fluffy robes & slippers to name a few. Guests even have access to the kitchen for use, & snacks 24/7. The location is also a plus across from a gas station, shops, restaurants, a park, & more, but very quiet, & walking distance to sites in the old town. A dedicated, secure parking spot right in front is convenient & free! The best part are the amazing owners & their family, the kindest & most caring people that I met during my 3 week solo travels in Sicily. The owner even noticed & fixed my flat tire, refused payment, & his wife insisted on giving me a take out of goodies for the road at checkout. If you are staying in Piazza Armerina, La Stazione is an experience that you will not want to miss.

“The Boutique B&B and staff were exceptional.”

Warm welcoming and the loveliest host, she ensured we had the best night at the hotel. We had a very nice room, and the breakfast was lovely (cake freshly made by her mom, absolutely delicious). Great communication and flexibility, I would recommend this stay to anyone in town!

“Lovely small period Hotel”

Lovely room in a Old station building that has been turned into a small hotel. The host was very friendly and supplied information and a good restaurant and also tourist attractions. Breakfast was very ample and enjoyable.

The location was perfect for us because we arrived by coach - the stop was just across the road - but it would have been just as perfect with a car, as there were plenty parking spaces not far away and it was easy to get to from the main road. The area was peaceful and quiet and from there it was just a 10-minute walk to the noise and buzz of the town centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and helping with calling taxis to the Roman villa, and we were even allowed to stay in our room until late afternoon when our coach departed, without paying extra. Breakfast was varied, with freshly baked croissants and cake, as well as all the usual cereals, yoghurts, fruit and traditional Sicilian almond biscuits. Biscuits and hot drinks were also available self-service throughout the day in the breakfast room. The hotel hasn't been open long, so the furnishing and fittings were in perfect condition and tastefully chosen, also to reflect the theme of the venue - it was a former railway station - which was welcomingly amusing. Our twin beds were very comfortable, with even a remote-controlled mattresss to change the bed angle for reading/watching TV. We can highly recommend this hotel.
