Our stay at Giucalem had its bright spots, but overall we expected a bit more. The setting feels authentic, but the rooms are in need of some refreshing and modernization. Since it was a cold night, we tried using the air conditioning for heat, but it was quite noisy and disturbed our sleep. The place has great potential, but currently, the reality doesn't quite match the photos or the price point.

Quiet and comfortable on a working farm.Lovely hosts and dogs , friendly and helpful and made us a very welcome meal and good breakfast. Easy reach of Piazza Armerina , nice walk up to the town and very easy for Villa Casale.

Rustic farmhouse vibe. Fabulous breakfast. Delicious home cooked dinner when available. A worthwhile climb up to the old town of Piazza Armerina.

The place is secluded and beautifully decorated. Apart from the abundant breakfast, Alessandro also cooked for us a lovely varied dinner with home grown vegetables and home made liqueur. He also invited us inside the kitchen to taste the fig jam he was preparing! Looking forward to the next one!

Beautiful place, very clean and well maintained. Lots of beautiful rose bushes. The food cooked by chef Alessandro is delicious. Typical Sicilian dishes cooked to perfection. Breakfast was very good with a selection of savoury and sweet items. Staff was very helpful and always attended to our needs. Would love to return 😊

The Navigation couldn't get us to the location. we called the place and they picked us up in a matter of minutes. we enjoyed a wonderful evening with food cooked from Alessandro. He did a good job and the Nonna came to and set with us. we had a chance to talk to the other customers after the dinner
