We really enjoyed staying in Al Borghetto. The appartment is in the pittoresque old center of Piazza Armerina, very close to shops, cafe's and restaurants, and only a few walking minutes from the stop of the shuttle to the very impressive Villa Romana del Casale. The owner responded very fast to our addional requests for information.

Roberto was very helpful on check-in, especially when we had difficulty in finding the location. The apartment was very spacious and very well equipped. It was well located in the old town, which has a really 'old world' feel to it. Good to see it at night time and in daylight. The apartment was exceptionally well kept and clean. Good value for money? Definitely. Found free car parking nearby.

Comfy, clean and quiet apartment in a great location to explore Piazza Armerina and the Villa Romana. You can easily walk into the old town or catch the shuttle bus to the Roman villa in the new town. The view couldn't be more Sicilian and the place has a cozy look and feel.

Everything! It was situated right in the centre of town, near restaurants and shops. Roberto, the host met us at the airport and was very helpful and friendly.

“Exceptional”

We have been to many places in Sicily and this one stands out. There is a special atmosphere with the view on the roofs of the city (great at all times but especially at night) the apartment is perfectly designed and extremely comfortable, we enjoyed the light in all the apartment from kitchen to bedroom to shower room. The kitchen and its equipment is impressive. You can park in a free parking lot 5 min away. Piazza Armerina is a very nice city and Villa Romana unforgettable. The owner is very reactive and attentive.

“Perfect stay in Piazza Armerina”

Everything. Perfect location. Easy to find. Large carpark nearby. Plenty of room. Clean and comfortable.

The keys were easy to collect but we went into a one-way tiny street with the car and it was pretty hard to get out. It is better to leave the luggage with someone on the main road and take them up the little street than bring the car in there. There was a parking lot very nearby where we could leave the car.

The room had optimal size, had a little kitchen and a nice modern bathroom. The room decoration was a mix of modern furniture and Sicilian details like pottery and pillows which we liked a lot. The self check-in was very easy and the contact to the owner very good. The beds were in perfect condition and the surrounding was not too loud. A big parking with some supermarket was very close.
