Beautiful restored farmhouse that combines historical heritage with just a touch of modern amenities. Although it's relatively close to the road, it is very quiet, especially in the rooms and the garden area. The pool is fantastic, with good shade options and very long. Ideal for doing laps. This is a great base to explore the surrounding towns and roman ruins.

Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make dinner work for us (travelling with our 10 month old daughter)! The atmosphere, the gardens, and the buildings were all amazing! It’s a beautiful old farmhouse and grounds, lots of places to relax and enjoy the space.

This is a lovely property in an excellent location. The evening meal is exceptionally good value for money. We were there in October and there was a fire going in the evening, which made the place even more homely. Pato, the dog, became our friend and made sure that we were received a warm welcome, whenever we got home.

“A beautiful stay in the country”

We had a lovely stay at Bannata. We stayed here to visit the Villa Romana del Casale and Agrigento (a day trip) and it was great to return to the peace of the estate after a day out. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the weather was warm enough to swim. The dinners in the courtyard in the evening were lovely - it was nice to not have to drive into Piazza Armerina to look for a restaurant. The breakfasts were also delicious with fresh fruit and local pastries.

Fabulous property - converted farmhouse. Loved the decor and everything about it. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Dinner was delicious and very reasonable .

Francesca is very kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay in such beautiful surroundings and the traditional home cooked Sicilian dinners are just magnificent.

We loved our stay at Agriturismo Bannata. The place it is located is simply delightful - with practically a green park as the backyard! The building tells a story that immediately takes you in. The staff were truly exceptional; knowledgeable, helpful and warm. We also dined at the restaurant practically every day of our 7 night stay - it was just too good, and also practical for us with small kids. It was delicious Sicilian food; few ingredients done well. The restaurant ambience was a true highlight for us…We will be back.

“Impeccable taste and relaxing atmosphere”

This accomodation is a true gem! The landscape and the estate are amazing, beautiful and perfectly well kept. You can take relaxing walks and even walk inot the surrounding woods. The pictures of the pool speak for themselves I think. The pool area is beautiful as well and very clean. The staff and Carlo, the manager, are the kindest and most helpful people. We really eanted to stay longer and next time we will make sure to at least stay for a week, as you can truly relax in this place! If you are up to some sightseeing, Piazza Armerina and Enna are just 20-30 minutes away.

First our host (Francesca), what a joy to interact with her! Very calm, composed and impeccable service, 2nd the food - dinner amazing, many options for breakfast (some you need to ask eg eggs), the ambiance of the place! Dreamy, charming old decoration (you can tell it has a lot of history and family memories!), the swimming pool is amazing! The pictures don’t lie, it is long! The property is large and you can find nice corners to make a ‘picnic! Thoroughly recommend it!! And yes, they also have a very sweet dog!

Location was close to the wedding we were attending, so perfect. The actual building and bedroom facilities were generous, immaculate and relaxing. The Manager was fabulous , conjoured up a speedy lunch on our arrival. He provided a spectacular lunch the following day, despite having a conference to organise. We loved the converted farm vibe.
