Location - to get to Villa Romana is ideal, a few minutes & you are there. The staff, Nancy friendly & helpful, when we were informed restaurant was not open her recommendation in town was outstanding. Do check first if you want an evening meal. Great view from the balcony - we recommend this place if you want to be on the doorstep of Villa Romana.

Nancia is a very welcoming hostess. Very convenient location for the Villa Romana and Piazza Armenia. Very quiet with nice outlook from the terrace..The bed was comfortable. Nancias recommendations of places ro eat in piazza Armenia were excellent. These were Pizza Sud which was the best pizzeria we experienced in Sicily on our 20 day trip. Trattoria Goloso served authentic sicilian cuisine at reasonable prices.

Quiet and rural( you need a car). No nonsense. Accommodated our request for earlier breakfast. We had to drive over a muddy road the day before and they allowed us to use water to clean the car. ( hosepipe). I also got a potted plant as a present!

The woman in charge is nice and friendly. She doesn't speak English but we had no problems communicating with her since she is very approachable. The location is very near the city and the main sights if you have a car. Overall a good experience.

Typical Sicilien country style house. Rooms very small and shower . No hot water / tea/coffee in the rooms. Very simple Italian breakfast with excellent local fruit and homemade pannacotta.

“Peaceful apartment close to a Roman villa”
Quiet neighbourhood, nice view to the hills. Breakfast is mostly home-made cakes and desserts - magnificent! Villa Romana del Casale is very close.

We loved absolutely everything! location, staff, breakfast, room. Ugo, the owner, and his indispensable Nancy, fed us and made us feel we were with family, were very caring and warm. Very Sicilian!

“A great, relaxed, bicycle friendly place to stay”
A great location, although out of Piazza Armerina it was very close to the Roman Villa. The room was clean and comfortable, the hosts super friendly and helpful, the meals and wine I had there at extra cost were good and reasonably priced. A very relaxed atmosphere and bicycle friendly.

We flexible and pleasant host. We got dinner though the kitchen was closed. Nice place and great view to a mountain. The nigthtingale was singing in the valley.
