Please stop asking guests the night before checking out what time they will be out of the hotel. Stop knocking at a guest room 3-4 hours before checking out what time they will be checking out. Your guests have the rights to stay in thier room peacefully as long as they abide by the hotel rules.

My stay was perfect. Great location close to the airport with free shuttle service and simple breakfast. If you arrive at night dont look further book here. I appreciated the communication via WhatsApp and answering my questions. I arrived middle of the night and followed hotels instructions to get the shuttle to the hotel. Hotel staff was welcoming and very helpful. Room was confortable and clean had everything what you need. I would definitely stay here again.

It was close to the airport, clean, comfortable and safe. The bar and restaurant were good. The room was large with two comfortable beds.

“One night stay as flying out early morning so served its purpose”
Close to the airport and free very early morning shuttled to airport, friendly reception. Netflix available on TV, comfortable mattress Ate in the top floor restaurant which was good.

“I did not stay there. They lied about having no water. Gunshots could be heard nearby. Rude staff”
I recorded the conversation for FACT verification. Happy to share the recording. I arrived on the island for 1 day only to see my dying relative. No shuttle service This hotel is in a run down location and staff were rude. There was no one on reception- eventually I checked in. I left in a rush for my 4 hr drive to my visit. Arrived back at 11.30pm physically and emotionally exhausted - I was not let in a rude woman named SHERRY opened the window and said they said there was no water. She said all guests had been transferred to Piaco Palace and she said the hotel knew to expect me. She lied. Piarco palace had no notice of my arrival. Just before we left we could hear GUNSHOTS very close by(it’s in the recording). I was a lone female traveller. Thank god my taxi waited. I arrived at Piarco Palace. There were no guests that were transferred like Grand Diamond said because of no water. Sherry lied. In fact the manager there said the manager at Grand Diamond (Michael) was very rude to her when she was trying to contact him for confirmation. Piarco palace also confirmed that they were in no way linked to or had any partnership with Grand Diamond. Piarco Palace were so professional. So accommodating. Nerissa, the manager really looked after me. The rooms were lovely and felt a little more luxurious. Stay at Piaco Palace Crown Hotel. Don’t stay at Grand Diamond. The customer service is so appalling. Regardless of the good reviews here I really would suggest not staying there. They lie and they aren’t concerned with safety. Zero star rating. Zero. Not 1 but there’s no zero option.

Convenient, secure and comfortable hotel close to the airport. Excellent breakfasts and also evening meals in the rooftop restaurant - both Indian and Thai cuisine. Staff could not be more helpful with transfers to and from the airport and arranging a late check out.
