“You do not feel lonely in this place”

Got recommended by my friend I found this place. Immediately at my arrival, I felt like beeing part of the ”family”. First thing was to go for a late lunch with the host and after that Gouda drove me around and showed places in the Village. Ended up in couple of bars and restaurants where we played Table tennis and footboll. It is strange how with some people you feel immediately like you known each others for years although you just met them. The hotel itself is modest but so is the price. So good price/quality ratio. Although that kind of kindness you cannot by with any money. A place you do not feel lonely (if you want, I am sure that is also posible)😀

“Lovely short stay at The Cocoon”

A nice clean room with good facilities. Tiber was very welcoming and helpful, especially when we had issues with our vehicle. His help was invaluable. We were there during the down season so many restaurants were closed, however there was clearly a strong sense of community in Nesat and we felt very welcome.

The host is the sweetest and most caring hotel owner ever. She is very friendly and helpful and very accommodating regarding transportation and getting by. The room is small but with everyone one needs, including AC, fan, clean towels and a nice shower. Lovely and peaceful experience. Will come back

“Lovely stay.”

It felt very much as a home. Tiberhan welcomed us with open arms, and became our friend immediately. Whichever questions or wishes we had he helped us with them. The wifi works good, so I could also work from my laptop.

The staff an owner were amazing and very helpful with everything. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend staying here

1 word: fantastic! What a beautiful place and what an amazing good and relaxed, laid back vibe in the village! Sibil (and Sonja from the next guesthouse) are really wonderful and helpful. The room was very clean, I would absolutely recommend it. A lot of people stay here for a long time and I totally understand why. The vibe and everything is so good. There are also a lot of activities, for example a poker game. Thank you again Sibil, for making my stay the best I could wish for!

We really enjoyed our time at the Cocoon, Sibel was really nice and helpful, always making sure we had everything we need and advising us on things to do in the area. The place is really clean and tidy, we could see that effort is done to keep things that way. No bad surprises and nothing to complain about

From the moment I arrived at Cocoon, I was greeted with such warmth that I immediately felt at home. The space is not only super clean and comfortable, but the food is also incredibly tasty. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the large communal table provides the perfect opportunity to meet new people and engage in enjoyable conversations. For those seeking more privacy, there are hammocks and individual tables available as well. The owner is a truly wonderful, sweet, and lovely woman who goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is unforgettable. The people in the village are just as kind, lovely, and welcoming. There are plenty of options for meals, socializing, and enjoying nature, including a stunning lagoon, numerous beaches, and a beautiful, clean river nearby. I highly recommend Cocoon for anyone looking for a memorable and welcoming stay.

A very nice place with super friendly staff. Feels like being in a family. They are there to make your stay in Nesat wonderful with giving you all the answers to your questions. Also a highlight are the turkish Köfte!

I came as a stranger to The Cocoon and left feeling a part of an extended family throughout this growing Nesat community. The hostess Sibil is amazing, always a coffee or 3 ready for me on waking in the morning, the buffalo koftas were delicious, and her khmer chef cooks the most amazing khmer food. The rooms were comfortable and had everything I needed. The communal table was a great place to have conversations with other travellers and villagers alike. I will certainly be back.

The Cocoon is a lovely place to stay with understandably well rated. Rooms clean and comfortable, kinda as you'd expect. The food though was exceptional. Buffalo kofta and every other dish we eat amazing. Local chef so great and the travellers helping out also very lovely. Would stay here again. Owner went out of way to accommodate numerous of my mistakes,

Clean and tidy. Lovely Khmer staff. The accommodation is part of a village of expats from diverse countries. Very open and communicative neighbours all over the village. Different bars and foodie places.

I don't know how to put this, there's travel and there's experience, this, for me was the latter. The community spirit, non intrusive welcoming, the acceptance, the environment, the food (one of the best cheese boards I've ever had...... I've had a few🙄),, lovely man cooked pizza (I'm really bad with names!) chats, no chats,. It was bliss...... I will be back but my advice is to go now, this is the beginning of a masterpiece. Before you come here, expect nothing,..... and florish..... get a bike and go with the flow. My thanks to all at this village, especially Sibel who sowed the seed for me to go in the first place . 🙏
