“If you’re planning to go to Battambang this is THE place to stay.”

A little bit afar from the city center (5min) you can rest and relax in the garden or on the terrasse. The host Pissey is a true gem, she is wonderful and will help you with everything. She even booked a pickup from the bus station without us knowing, that I call service ! The kids playing around make you feel like you’re part of the family. We took a cooking class with Pissey, got to the market with her and cook along her side, it was a wonderful experience inside Cambodian’s life. And of course the food was delicious (the best amok we’ve had across all Cambodia!) The bungalows have everything you need : fan, mosquito net, lights and power even wifi. Truly a wonderful stay, we cannot recommend it enough !

“The heart of Cambodia”

Lovely people, salt of the Earth, the heart of Cambodia. Welcoming family who went out of their way to make my time as lovely as possible. The location is beautiful, rural countryside that you can walk for hours, everyone who you pass by gives you a smile and the children greet you with huge grins. The owner stopped what they were doing and helped me multiple times, giving me a lift, organising a barbers, tour and bus to Siam Reap. They made me feel at home and their friends are just as loving. The accomodation is comfortable, I slept without the fan on ontop of the duvet, it was great. Bathroom and shower room are right next door and everything was very well presented. The food I was given was delicious. Thank you to the owner, her family and her friends for making my stay so memorable. It was a highlight of my trip.

Battambang Eco Stay and Cooking Class is a lovely, welcoming place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect stay. The family who owns the property is incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home with thoughtful touches like fresh fruit and snacks, and the rooms are exceptionally comfortable and clean. We were also impressed by the high-speed Wi-Fi and the convenient location, which made exploring the area so easy. To top it all off, the cooking class they offer is absolutely amazing and a must-do experience—I truly cannot recommend this place enough!

Bedroom and bathroom were super clean and comfortable. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We did a cooking class with her which included going to the market which was an incredible experience.

We had such a lovely stay! The hosts are incredibly welcoming and kind and they make you feel at home in the beautiful Cambodian countryside :) We only stayed two nights but with our full day tour (which we highly recommend!) it felt like a lot longer. The food they prepare for breakfast and dinner is also delicious!

Pisey, her family and neighbour were fantastic. We had such a lovely couple of nights and felt very welcomed. They went above and beyond to help organise transport etc for us and we loved speaking with Pisey about her story and family. We stayed in the more traditional room and the photos accurately represented this. It was lovely waking up with sunrise and listening to village life awaken. We also opted to have a cooking class and would highly recommend this. We opted for the morning before it got too hot, and it was one of the highlights of our whole trip to sit in the market and eat breakfast with the locals as the world went by.

The accommodation was absolutely lovely but the real standout from our trip were the hosts and their very sweet children. They are the kindest people you’ll meet on your travels. They took us to their cousins wedding which was an incredible privilege and wonderful experience. Could not have asked for more from our stay - food was super tasty, facilities were pretty and clean and the company was amazing. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay!

Very friendly welcome , nothing was too much trouble. Very clean. Loved watching the frogs and lizards. Order food and it's brought for you to eat on your terrace.

Felt very authentic, lovely area where you can sit and chat to other people. Not in the main city which was really nice as you could escape from the busy area. The host also let us stay in our room until the evening before we got an overnight bus which was so kind and thoughtful of her

“Lovely homestay”

A lovely homestay! The staff are so kind, great breakfast, good bikes to cycle to the bamboo train or into town on. Easy moped hire to get to the bat cave. Comfy bed, nice bathroom, decent location.

The host family were lovely and very friendly. The location was good, as it was nice and quiet but still close enough to pop in and out of town for a couple of dollars. We ate a couple of times at the home stay and the food was delicious! I would def recommend this wonderful home.

Really loved our stay there. It's cute, remote and green. The family running the place is genuinely warm and welcoming. It's a bit far from the city center but you can rent a motorbike from staff. Very convenient. I can only recommend staying there!

If you love simplicity, quality, and authenticity, you will really like this place. From my point of view, it was my favorite of the entire trip, and I would have happily spent another week there. It is a small guesthouse just outside the city, impeccably run by Pisey and her husband, who are two people of exceptional kindness and helpfulness. It feels like being a guest of friends who take care of you: a great plus is the level of help Pisey can offer you in exploring the surrounding area, suggesting walks, market visits, cooking classes, and scooter rentals. The food is really exceptional. I highly recommend it.

Kindness, qualty of food and beds. Very good english. A quiet place with lovely bungalows located just at the beginning of the countryside. Battambang is easly reachable by bicycle in 15-20min or in a tultulk / scooter. You can directly rent a scooter at the homestay. They also let use their bicycles for free which is greatly appreciate as there are very nice tour to do around in the countryside. I arrive at 6am and they let me take the room immediately. Beautiful family with who you can exchange very easily. Highly recommended ❤️
