Stylish decoration

The traditional Thai house was beautiful. Duke and his staff were incredibly helpful, and allowed us to check in early, and there were free bikes you could borrow to explore the historical sites. Would thoroughly recommend!

Location and friendly, helpful staff. Free bicycles. Nice with beer, water and chips in the garden for self-service. Really nice with a loudspeaker with Bluetooth in the room!

The Host (Duke) was very helpful with organizing our transport to the airport and also gave us nice recommendations (for vegetarian food, massage and festival)!

“Wooden Thai house on the river bank- first class ambience.”

Beautiful timbered Thai house on the riverbank: we had a river view room with lots of windows and a terrace all the way around the outside. Furnishings are imaginative and attractive in a Thai style Large bathroom, good hard beds, parking underneath. Beer in the fridge, a rarity in Thailand. Breakfast served outside overlooking the river. One plumbing issue was immediately dealt with, and the owner was sending me recommendations of what to see and where to eat 24 hours before we arrived- a class act.

An excellent welcome from the owner, Duke, who was extremely helpful in assisting us to plan our short time in the area (e.g. booking a boat trip, taxi). All of the other staff members that we met were friendly, and communicated well using body language despite the language barrier. We loved being able to borrow bikes to visit the ancient templates, and the location was perfect in terms of being tranquil but also close to local visitor attractions. Breakfast by the river each morning was a great way of starting the day. Our bedrooms were also to a very high standard, especially the one which overlooked the river.

Phuttal Residence is a perfect serene getaway next to the river. At the end of a private road it is secluded and quiet, with beautiful gardens, beautiful residence and delicious breakfast, either Western or Thai. Duke the owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and beyond hospitable! Arranging activities for us, helping us with luggage and transportation etc. The location is good too within easy reach by bike of all the main attractions, night market and river.

By far one of the loveliest places to stay , staff were so hospitable and kind. The accommodation was so clean and had everything we needed. The Breakfast by the river was also very lovely too. Due to Songkran they also kindly allowed us to use their external showers and storage room after checkout, before we left Ayutthaya.

Duke was an amazing host and helped arrange everything for a wondeful time exploring Ayutthaya as a family, including an amazing boat trip from the property, lovely breakfasts in the gardens, tuk tuks to visit the ruins, and even support on getting medical treatment. Perfect place for seeing the city.
