Premium price and a premium experience at this fabulous hotel, facing a Wat on the river bank, and only 10 mins from the historic park. We booked one of the Thai rooms, which although a little hot and stuffy, were huge and full of authentic Thai touches. All snacks and drinks are free. Spacious bathroom and good bed. No noise from the river or road The adjoining cafe was great and the riverside terrace a must at sundown- a real pity drinks weren't available by then. Breakfast was high quality and varied, with good coffee and fresh croissants.

rooms are beautifully traditional in style, yet extremely comfortable, with excellent air conditioning — a real luxury after a day exploring the temples. The thoughtful extra touches and treats made it feel special and welcoming. Breakfast was outstanding and truly set us up for long mornings wandering around Ayutthaya’s historic sites. Everything was fresh, generous, and carefully prepared. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. One of the highlights is the peaceful riverside setting. Sitting with a good coffee, watching the life on the river and the surrounding nature, was such a calm and memorable experience. Even if you’re just passing through, it’s worth stopping for coffee. I would absolutely recommend a stay here and would love to return.

Everything was great! Great staff, beautiful courtyard, good breakfast. A few doors down was the best restaurant I've been to the entire trip. The hotel was across the river from a wonderful temple. Everything was good.

I was lucky to be in the traditional Thai room which I really liked, beautiful wooden floors and a very comfortable bed. Good towels and shower. The seating by the river was very calming and you can watch the world go by reading a book or listening to music. Ruins just across the road and plenty of places to eat nearby.

Lovely quiet property with outdoor area right on the river. The owner also arranged a tuk tuk to take us to the various temple complexes. Definitely worth seeing! Also definitely try the Roti Sai Mai, crepes with flavoured “cotton” candy. It’s a specialty of Ayutthaya. Fun also if you can see it made, especially the “cotton” candy part. Hard work!!

Beautiful back garden and cafe by the river. Lovely breakfast. Perfect for a short stay.

This is a very special place to stay. Completely different from anywhere else we have stayed in. The ambiance, the trees, the river, the squirrels and the building used for visitors all come together to make this a treat to visit and stay. The breakfast is perfect and the cafe that forms part of the enclosure has some beautiful cakes.

We loved our three night stay here. The property has a gorgeous setting overlooking the river and temples and the grounds are made up of tranquil and beautifully landscaped gardens. It's very calm and relaxing. Great staff and service and they can easily arrange tuk-tuk and boat tours. Delicious breakfast too. We had a traditional Thai room, all wood panelled and charming, whilst also having full modern comforts. Very highly recommended.

“I would go back”

The rooms are huge and they were clean. The hotel is located on the river banks and has a lush garden leading to a terrace right on the river. The view is very beautiful. Although located outside the old city walls it is still conveniently close (also the historical remains are everywhere and the main ones quite apart from each other: you need a bike or a tuk tuck anyways). Not far from the hotel is a series of posh/stylish restaurants and bars. Well furnished mini bar. Very quiet.
