We loved the tranquil setting, the traditional architecture, beautiful ceramics and friendly staff. The outdoor shower was a delight. The guesthouse is well located for cycling to the historical and religious sites. It's also a quick drive to everything.

“Great base for an Ayutthaya stay”

Quiet and characterful accommodation in a garden-like setting, overlooking a waterway filled with lilies. We appreciated that the hosts were on site when we arrived by train in the early hours, well before check in time, and could organise a breakfast for us - this meant a lot. Our room was large and airy, and the al fresco bathroom a delight. The breakfast choices covered all bases, the rice porridge our favourite. The UNESCO sites are walkable from Baan Tye Wang, but it's as easy to get a tuk tuk there and back for a nominal cost.

Beautiful and very relaxing property. Great location. The staff is so kind and lovely. They packed breakfast for us since we had an early flight. We would stay again!

The environment of the guesthouse is amazing. So beautiful and peaceful! There's lots of wildlife in the trees and along the river. The breakfast included is good and the coffee is great. The host was very friendly and it was easy to check-in. The room was clean and comfortable, and the outside shower is enjoyable. It is also a good location from Ayuthuyya, as the one morning we walked to Wat Phra Ram and it was quick and easy from the guesthouse.

Lovely guesthouse with a very green view from the room. You can feel owners take care of the plants with their heart ☺️ Breakfast was included, the owner even changed the menu for us to accomodate our dietary restrictions.

The garden is incredibly beautiful and the people at Baan Tye Wang are so friendly. We stayed here two nights to visit Ayutthaya and it was just perfect.

The Guesthouse place is amazing, a lot of vegetation and clean (considering its like a mini jungle). I would definitely stay there for a couple of more days. They lent you a bike, which is a huge plus!

“An oasis near the busy historical sites.”

Lovely guest house, which is an oasis compared to the tourist filled historical park nearby, although this is why we chose Baan Tye Wang. Staff were lovely and spoke quite good English. Breakfast was ordered the night before. We had the continental with Croissant, fresh fruit, and yogurt, which was lovely. It is a novelty for us having a shower outside but added to the whole vibe. The garden is a real gem, and I would have been happy to stay longer. Even had a friendly rabbit!

We had a lovely stay, the owners were very friendly and helpful. They are able to arrange taxis and tuk tuks if needed. The garden view is stunning, there were different birds flying around the canal, and a golden stupa in the background. The room was a good size with a nice outside (but private) shower. The breakfast was very nice, with a choice of western or Thai food. The location was good for us, although is a little bit away from the main area of the island, but that suited us as it was quieter, and as mentioned above, the owners called a tuk tuk to take us into the busy areas and the temples, which took about 10 minutes.

Great location, walking distance to Wat Mahathat and lovely being on the water. Very relaxing location.

The property is beautiful, with lovely aged wooden furniture. The outdoor area faces a water body filled with lotus. It’s great to spend some quiet time relaxing and enjoying the birdsong. The staff were friendly and accommodating and they offered a delicious breakfast spread of local and international items.

Great and lovely arranged rooms which make you feel at home instantly. Outdoor shower in the back of the room, aircon, fridge, big bed and a porch out front. The house is located in a beautiful garden right next to the river with plenty of space for guests. The staff is very helpful and friendly, breakfast was really good.
