I had the most amazing experience at this hotel! The staff is absolutely the best — they are incredibly sweet, kind, and caring. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Every single person I interacted with was friendly and helpful, and you can tell they truly care about their guests. The place itself is beautiful, but what really makes it special is the people. I 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, wonderful stay. I was treated so well — it honestly felt like home. Thank you for everything, you're all amazing!

“Very rustic, romantic setting, but due to the noise, would not use again”

Booked the riverboat. The boat itself was great. The river however is used for freight, so the diesel tugs towing the shipping are very noisy and go on all night.

Simple but nice and clean. Beautiful outside area by the river. If you need an ac, the place might not be the right choice. We had a great stay and the owner was very helpful as well.

“I felt cozy here!”

Staying in a traditional Thai house is an experience itself! It could be better maintained for sure but I have to say that I enjoyed the place for the most part. Surely there were many mosquitoes, but staying close by the river you can't expect otherwise. However, I could sleep super well with the fan pointed at myself (there's also a mosquito net in the bed). The bed sheets were clean and I found the room to be cozy :)

Peaceful location on the river with local culture atmosphere. Great for travellers on a budget. Helpful staff can arrange boat and local site visits.

Where to start? On our first night, we told not to go out after dark because of the dogs? Order your food in and eat here. You must ust use grab for a taxi and then went into a half an hour explanation despite us repeating several times that we do use grab. We came back on taxi bikes, and he was not happy and told us how dangerous they were? The guy who worked there came through our room to the boat deck to "check" if we were OK? I asked if there was a laundrette close by, and he said no, I can do the washing here. He took it at night and said that it would be ready the following evening. It took 48 hours? Every time we went out, he wanted to know where we were going and what we were doing? When we went back, he wanted to know where we had been and what I had bought? The housekeeping, you had to ask for the daily water and anything else and seemed surprised that we requested the sheets to be changed. The shower was luke warm. I thought that he was sweet to begin with, but in the end, it was just creepy and intrusive. The boat has seen better days and is appalling condition and needs scrapping. The final day this man broke the handle off my siutcase? How? I told him it was new and just looked at me and smiled and said ,oopps, so sorry. Then he gave me the shattered handle in a bag and said that it could be repaired. It's a new case. How did you manage to break it? The owner was there and just walked away? They didn't even offer to pay towards a new one, it's ruined? The whole stay was rather creepy and intrusive

“Great budget friendly stay in Central Ayutthaya🌞”

The Ayothaya Riverside House is perfectly located right next to the Historical Park. The Host was incredibly friendly and helpful and the rooms simple but very comfortable. There is no A/C, but we were there in the hottest time of the year and sleeping there with the fan on was no problem whatsoever. We also had the possibility of having our laundry done here, to rent bikes for exploring the city and to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Wonderful view from the terrace!

The view of the lake is beautiful and the owners are very kind and accommodating.

“Enchanting teak house”

Staying here was a wonderful experience - it is an enchanting traditional teak house on the river. In addition the host is very helpful with information for your stay. They rent bikes for 60 bht a day which is handy.

This certainly is a very cool place to stay. It's a very traditional old style Thai wooden river house. Right on the water with very cool aesthetic. Super friendly staff too.
