Friendly staff. Great location for restaurants, bars and cafes. A lot of character and nice pool area.

“Clean, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast delicious”

Location suited us on our first holiday to Phnom Penh. We could walk and taxis to our destinations. Breakfasts were delicious and enough to keep our energy up until dinner.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant I loved the decor. Staff were friendly and helpful from arrival until we checked out. Delicious breakfast selection as it is a restaurant as well with both western and traditional options. Rooftop pool was lovely at the end of day with amazing views and sunset in the evening. Rooms were tidy and bathrooms was big. Under 10mins ride to riverside market, central market, Aeon mall and palace. Highly recommend.

“Good value and location, great breakfast and amazing pool”

The rooftop pool is great, especially for sunset. Amazing that the pool seemed under-utilized. I really liked the included breakfast and that it wasn’t a buffet — higher quality and less waste. Staff were very helpful and accommodating even if initial impression wasn’t as great. I would definitely stay again.

This place is an unexpected treasure in the city - beautiful decor, attentive staff, and a really comfortable room. The rooftop pool is a wonderful place to relax with a drink and views over the city. Our breakfast was excellent! I wish we could have stayed a few more nights..

The best part is the staff I hope they are paid very well I appreciate them so much. We were also absolutely smitten with the decor I couldn't get over it, what an artistic and lovely vibe. The bed was so comfortable, the balcony was beautiful all the plants everywhere were so cozy I actually stayed here twice I loved it so much.

We had so wonderfull time in Khmer Surin hotel. Staff were helpfull, friendly, ... local food in their restaurant was so good og tastety. Thanks.

Loved my stay here! The hotel has a beautiful authentic 'feel' with Cambodian decor and a delightful rooftop pool with great views of the Phnom Penh skyline. Good dining options and a short tuk tuk ride to the Riverside area. The room was spacious, and had a shared balcony that provided that 'outdoor space' that is always a bonus!

What a great hotel and restaurant. Just a 10 minute tuktuk ride from the Royal Palace the Surin Boutique hotel is a little gem. On arrival we were greeted with a fresh coconut drink whilst completing the paperwork. We were originally allocated a room on the 4th floor (despite requesting an upper floor room). On pointing this out they happily moved us to room 11A The room was spacious with a large bathroom with a walk in shower and a balcony . Quirky decor adds to the charm of the hotel. Up-cycled shutters, old panelling and beautiful china vases abound. There is a pool on floor 14 with an ample supply of towels available, 6 loungers and a table and chairs. We dined in the hotel on the first night. The ground floor was full (a great sign) and they were using the first floor restaurant too. Despite the number of diners, food service times were good, the staff attentive and always on hand. But best of all was the delicious food. Couldn’t be faulted. The breakfast menu was extensive and coffee good and strong. The staff in every department of the hotel were always smiling and willing to help. The young lady on reception organised laundry for us which was returned the same evening. Room cleaning was immaculate with fresh towels, dressing gowns and soap / shower gel etc provided.

Roof top swimming pool attracted me at first when searching on site. I arrived by bicycle from Vietnam, dusty,tired and ready to sleep at midday! The staff were so helpful and I entered my room with the WOW effect and I am not easily “wowed”. The decor with amazing taste (yes, it is subjective ) then the huge bathroom with excellent shower , firm bed and finally incredible view from the ninth floor. The swimming pool had to wait until after my midday siesta, yes ,I had a swim , lay back on the lounger and thought I have hit the jackpot here. I am reluctant to eat in hotel restaurants but sneakily observed the packed restaurant and watched plates being served , before I decided to reserve table. Breakfast included in my room price,which was a bit confusing, as they had an extensive a la carte breakfast menu. All of the food was absolutely freshly made , particularly the blueberry pancakes.
