The studio had a balcony and lots of light, it was on the 4th floor, no elevator. I booked it in December so winter time as only small table fan available for a 20m2 room, you will be frying in summer! Kitchen was available, Wifi worked well. Location was good next to the Genocide museum with lots of coffee bars and restaurants. Although a bit tucked away it is a safe and local area.

The you personal was very nice and the rooms were rather nice as well.

I've stayed at Ananta on & off for the last 4 months, and it's a somewhat unique business in that it operates as a hotel with one office/reception, but actually rents out rooms in over half a dozen properties in & around the area. They offer very reasonable daily rates and also discounted weekly & monthly rates as well, and with rooms to cater for virtually any budget and needs. I'd highly recommend staying here, especially if you're impulsive and like a room and want to stay a month without having to sign a six month lease & pay a months deposit up front as well, or have to go through a third-party agency more interested in their commission than finding you a room to suit your needs or if you arrive unprepared and aren't quite sure what you need - you will soon find it with the help of staff. The staff are all super friendly and approachable; lead by Vimean the manager whom personally will sit down with you and listen to your situation and needs and find you the right room you're looking for with the right deal... I can't speak highly enough of Vimean whom is extremely helpful, full of empathy and seems to have the perfect balance of being patient enough in unique situations with difficult guests, but not to the extent he'd be taken advantage of. A real credit to the Khmer people & their hospitality. I've stayed in a number of rooms here and the Wifi has been excellent in everyone without exception. There are numerous convivence stores nearby, If you're a first time traveler here - the location of the properties are mostly in close proximity to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, A former prison, now converted into a memorial. A must for tourists wanting to pay your respects & learn of the atrocities committed under the Khmer Rouge regime and remembering the victims.
