Very inexpensive for Sint Maarten prices . The location was great . I had air conditioner, frige , privat bathroom and even a small cuisine where I prepared most of my breakfasts and dinners. Anyway do not expect perfection at such a little price.

The host, Andrae was super friendly and helpful, I was able to check in a bit late, he also organised an early morning taxi for me to get to the airport. The location is great, right in the middle of Philipsburg and just minutes walk from the beach. You're surrounded by restaurants and shops. Price was excellent.

It's a simple family run hostel, in a perfect location right on the main beach and street. Don't expect luxury, but for what you are paying its a perfectly good place to stay. THe owners are very friendly, and the family also has tours and bike hire available.

Calinago Friendly Family SxM is situated in a perfect location and easy to find. The office is close to the Oranje school, and the rooms are just in front! Just a few seconds from the beach and from the best restaurants, 5mins from the neares bus station. The bed was comfortable, the room had AC, a kitchen and private bathroom. I found everything super clean. There’s also a terrace where you can watch the sunset while drinking a cold Carib beer! Fresh is a lovely host, always ready to help, as are his kids. I would never trade this gem for one of the overpriced hotels in the same area. The location was also super safe. 5 stars is too little for this! Thank you Fresh & family, should you come to Italy, Slovenia or Europe in general remember you’ve got a friend there! 🏝️

The host was extremely responsive from the very beginning of my confirmation until my check out! Very friendly, very professional, and 100% all about making sure the guest is comfortable and supported throughout their entire stay. The accommodations are exactly as described, very budget friendly and clean and right on the boardwalk with direct access to the beach, shops, groceries, ferries, whatever you need. All in all you can't find a better deal. I really enjoyed my stay and the very home-like experience and I can't wait to go back!
