A convenient local hotel with huge basic room and friendly staff

For the price, this was an excellent choice. The room was basic but spacious with a wardrobe and space to put your clothes etc. The little balcony was a bonus - just big enough for a couple of chairs. Location was excellent. Very close to the bus station and to the lake. Bicycles were free to borrow.

Decent place! OK, maybe don’t expect the Hilton but for the price this is amazing. The bed is comfortable, everything is clean, the room is big, the AC works well and is not noisy. £10 a night I think is a fantastic deal if staying for a night or two (no need for longer in Phayao I think).

The staff and it was 5 minutes walk to main Bus Terminal. They gave me loads of water bottles and rent bikes if you need it

Great price quality ratio - very spacious room, comfy bed, hot shower, a little balcony, a big wardrobe for your things, table with two stools and a fridge. On the ground floor there is a shared room with free coffee and hot water dispenser. They also have the typical street 1THB water filter, affordable self-laundry, free bicycles and sell some drinks and snacks at the reception. They conveniently did house cleaning on days we were out and brought us free bottles of water almost every day. Everything you need for even a longer stay! Personally, we didn't find the nearby school too noisy. They are nice people. Location is good, especially close to the bus station, 7-11, and then you have the bicycles.

Kind and helpful host. Very clean room. Good location close to the bus station. The quiet semi-rural neighbourhood roads are good for walking around and exploring. Short walk to the lakeside area. There is a 7-Eleven close by. Can see the morning sunrise from the room.

Decent stay, value for money. Near to kwan phayao and eateries

Great little place just a 10 minute walk from the promenade. 6 mins to a 7/11 and decent coffee. Cheap and cheerful accommodation, not posh but functional.

Convenient location, good value for money, room was clean, towels, soap and bottled water provided. Free coffee in the morning in the common room area.

Very very clean and big room. Very quiet neighbourhood. Good bed.

Basic room and facility but just what you need within this budget. 5 min walk from the bus station, fridge in your room, access to feel coffee and cold water. Scooter rental available from the lady who runs the hotel which is recommended to explore around the lake.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, bathroom small but okay. Good noodle shop nearby, close to city.

“Great budget rooms in Phayao - clean & spacious, staff are lovely”

Great budget room; clean, spacious and practical for travelling with children. At this price point you wouldn't expect such a large room in great condition with a full size fridge, lots of desk and wardrobe space and plenty of room for both an extra single bed (a proper camp bed rather than a mattress on the floor) and a cot. There is also a separate room near reception where hot water and tea/coffee making facilities, dining tables etc are free for use. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Large clean room with a big fridge, plenty of storage space. Average sized bathroom. Small balcony area. Quiet at night. Wonderful owners, very kind and helpful. A 5 minute walk to the bus station and maybe 20 minutes to the river area.

Overall really good rooms with a little fridge. Good location next to the bus station and a 10 min walk from the center and the lake. They have bicycle if you want to bike around the lake.
