“Cozy and good location”

This hotel is in a very nice location. It is right opposite Khao Ok Thalu, the landmark of the city, where you can explore and enjoy beautiful views. It's only a 10-minute walk/drive to the train station and the night market. They also have a swimming pool and bike rentals. The owner is very kind, and the place is spotlessly clean.

We had an excellent stay, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Fantastic views of the beautiful landscape with Ok Thalu mountain and the hiking trail right next to us. The balcony was the best, great for watching the sunset and also access to the swimming pool made it all very relaxing. The owners Paul and his wife are really lovely people and very welcoming. They provided motorbike rental which is essential to explore Phatthalung. Its about 10-15 min walk to the town centre/main train station. We would stay here again.

Wonderfully situated guest house, excellent facilities (love the pool) and fantastic staff, Mountain View adds to an already wonderful stay in Phattalung. Not yet overrun by tourism, yet offering plenty to explore. Recommended.

More often than not I ate outside because I wanted to see more of Phattalung, but Jiab makes a great Laté. The pool will wake you up or cool you down in a flash, and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The mountain was literally right outside my bedroom window and in front of my door.. The place is well named.

A 10 minute walk from Phatthalung station and its night market. Great location next to the mountain. The room is fine with enough space and the necessary amenities.

“Great place to visit whilst in phattalung”

The guest house / resort is at the base of the mountain khoa ok talu where you can trek up into the mountain and reach the eye (talu) hole in the mountain 1001 steps to the to . You can then rock climb to the pinnacle by rope to reach the very top, which is only for the brave and an amazing experience. There are cave temples nearby and also the walking market with street food and music is just a 10-minute walk where you see the trains come and go every hour , this is not to be missed. Staff and owners are extremely friendly and hospitable. The food and bar serve reasonably priced delicious food and beverages all day . Phattalung is a small city that boasts everything you need all in walking distance. The shops and restaurants are all convenient in one place which makes it so special and I highly recommend visiting. Also the lotus lilly lakes in thaile noi pak pra are beautiful to visit and see the water buffalo on a long tail boat trip .

Our room was amazing, biggest room so far on our travels with amazing views of the mountain. Free water and coffee for your room everyday. You can walk into town, hire bikes or mopeds. Really good food here, with a good variety on the menu if you don't want to venture out. Staff can arrange anything for you, and the owner offered to take us to the bus station when we leave. We loved it so much here we booked an extra 3 nights, can't thank them enough for their hospitality. We will be back.

Lovely spot. Can climb the mountain just behind the guesthouse and the main street is less than a ten minute walk away. Great rooms also.

Been here 3 times.. Making Last minute booking for this place while Still on the hiway never been that easy. No Credit card needed. . Parking my big bike is safe here in deed.

The swimming pool and the location, close to the stairs to Ok Thalu, the train station and the market. The rooms are clean and spacious and the bed is comfortable.

I know it’s a warm country and few ants are ok, even 12 or a few more, but not hundreds and even crawling into the bed, plus a few roaches…
