La Porte Rouge is ideally situated in an historic picturesque town. The apartment itself was comfortable, well furnished, spotlessly clean and full of charm and character. Our host was very accommodating and on hand with advice. Cafés, restaurants and artisan shops are in the immediate vicinity. Grocery shopping via supermarkets are also reasonably close. Good transport links are within walking distance with regular bus links to many outlying areas and towns which are very reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can recommend La Porte Rouge for a relaxing holiday.

Location was brilliant, right in centre of old town but extremely quiet as was situated in a no through passageway. Apartment was extremely spacious with everything you could possibly need. Everything was lovely and clean. Ceiling fans and air-con units were available (if needed). The whole impression was one of being in a beautiful apartment in a beautiful location surrounded by all you needed with regard to plenty of shops, restaurants etc.

The apartment was superb with a spacious and character living area. Kitchen was well equiped and you could easily cook and eat there for a long period of time. Bedroom was comfortable and very quiet. The facilites, media wi-fi etc were all working well. In case of rain, there is an umberella availble - good thinking! Easy access on foot to the main entrance. Car patking very close by at Place 14 juillet, not expensive. Shops, restaurants and tourist attractions all on the door step, but despite this, the apartment is extremely quiet inside. Great local Saturday market within 5 minutes walk. A must for the selction of food and other items. Restaurants galore within 3 to 5 minutes walk. The host Mark was there with the keys and useful information. Thanks Mark.

Mark is a charming and fascinating host and this gorgeous apartment is as welcoming as he is. The apartment has that ‘wow factor’ - vaulted ceilings, a sense of space, serenity and history. It’s really well equipped too and despite the beauty just outside the front door it’s very tempting to stay put! The location couldn’t be bettered: right in the heart of Pezenas, yet despite the proximity to the lively restaurants and bars the apartment was blissfully calm and quiet. As a base to explore the town it’s difficult to see how this place could be bettered - we will be back!

The apartment is in a great central location.It is in an historic building on the first floor. It has an impressive open plan stone vaulted living space. All you might require is provided with taste. Our host was super friendly and very helpful. I couldn`t recommend highly enough and would go back in a heartbeat.
