The small town of Peyriac-de-Mer is lovely, you can take a pleasant walk in the town or around the 'lake'. It is really interesting! There is a small bakery right beside the apartment, and also a small supermarket 30 meters away. There are a few restaurants, too in the center. The apartment is old-fashioned, but has everything we need for short-term stays. The kitchen is well-equipped.

“Lovely apartment in a fantastic location”
You cannot fault the location! Many places say they are only a couple of steps from the village square, but this literally is - you are a maximum of 15m from the square, but it is quiet and you don't feel any pressure of traffic or crowds, due to the tranquil nature of the village. You are only 10 minutes walk to the lake, the hotel restaurant is two minutes away and the supermarket is opposite (very handy and nice folks). The bakery next door is also a lifesaver if you arrive late, or need bread and milk in the morning (open 6am). The apartment is small but sufficient, and we were able to cook a meal for a family on the small kitchen with no trouble.

“Great location in the heart of the village”
Overall, the apartment's location in the centre of Peyriac is delightful, situated right next to the village square. There is a bar, a restaurant, a small convenience store and a bakery. However, it's important to mention a significant aspect: the windows are at street level. This might pose a challenge, particularly during the summer months, as there is constant foot traffic passing by, especially noticeable in the bedroom. On the upside, the bed was comfy, the shower provided hot water, and the kitchen facilities were functional and efficient. From the apartment you can easily take a walk around the Etang and watch the wildlife. It's a magical place! Also, Narbonne and other regional attractions are easily reachable!
