Roccetta Fiorita is on the shores of Lake Orta in the medieval village of Crabbia. Dating back to the 1800s, it offers rustic rooms and apartments with wood-beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. I was looking for a quiet place to relax after a difficult seven days journey and crossing the Alps on a motorcycle, and I was not mistaken. Pleasant homely atmosphere, everyone is welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is beyond praise. you don't expect this level of service and food in a random village. I recommend trying the marinated trout; I haven’t eaten anything like it. This is my first time in Italy, and I immediately fell in love with these places and people, how stylish, positive, and delicious everything is.
