The location is a very strong feature of this hotel along with the peaceful, scenic and serene views of the lake. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. A room with lake view is recommended and there’s a beautiful terraced bar and restaurant which overlooks Lake Orta.

Upgraded to a larger room with panoramic lake views and super balcony. Rooftop bar for apero and lighter menu. Formal dinner excellent. Easy access to the boat taxi. Careful over seeing by the family owners. Excellent assistance in arranging taxi to Milan during the train strike, thank you Caterina 😊 Excellent breakfast choices.

We booked a room with lake view and were not disappointed as the balcony overlooked the waterfront. We only stayed one night and it was a little to cold to benefit from the hotel pool or the rooftop terrace. The location is outside the village so access by car is preferred (parking available at no charge), although there is a ferry stop at the hotel. The restaurant food at lunch was excellent, but very busy as we stayed on a public holiday.

Lovely views of the lake from our balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Liked the boat from the jetty which took you to Isola San Giulio and to other places around the lake.

The room on the lake with a balcony had a fantastic view. The linens were lovely! Those on staff were always ready and willing to help! Loved being in the location 30 minutes from Lake Maggiore--we could go out for the day and come back to the quiet of the hotel!

It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful part of Italy. We visited out of season and were upgraded to a room where it was imperative to contemplate the peaceful view across the lake, book in hand. The food is exquisite - just as good as the view from the breakfast and dinning rooms where sumptuous meals are served with smiling service. We spent two blissful days, relaxing and recharging for the next leg of our journey across Europe.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the breakfast buffet. The lakeside views were beautiful, the hotel has a top location. The staff were lovely.

The comfort of the room, but I thought I would have a room with a view and was very disappointed on arrival. The terrace overlooking the lake for aperitif. Breakfast. But I was furious I had accepted the suggestion to have dinner at the hotel : possibly the worst dinner of my summer! It is time to hire a real cook.
