“Beautiful place with amazing views and outstanding breakfast”

Authentic property, like and old castle. Amazing views (we took a room with the castle view) and we recommend it for others as well, because it has a huge terrace with outstanding views. Really took our breaths away. The lady who took care of everything (check in, chek out, showing the room, preparing breakfast) was very nice, always very polite and understanding of our wishes. Breakfast was another level, amazing! Location of the hotel was a really nice hill town of Petrele, with a few small shops and a few bars for coffee and wine.

“What a lovely stay!”

It was our first stay in Albania and a wonderful introduction to what we could expect from this trip: a cozy, clean room, beautiful nature, very tasty food, and the most amazing host. We walked around, observing village life and enjoying the views from different spots. We also took a trip to a beautiful Pëllumbas Cave - about a 35-minute drive to the starting point, followed by roughly three hours of leisurely walking to the cave and back. I can gladly recommend this hotel. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

“Just perfect!”

Everything!!! This is a hidden gem and a peaceful paradise. The building is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. They are building a pool which will be amazing too when it is finished. The rooms were so nice and very clean with brand new bathrooms. The restaurant area is a gorgeous place to sit and admire the view and enjoy the sound of the birds. And definitely make sure you eat at the restaurant, the hostess is an incredible chef and her food was sooo delicious and she is very generous. We tried the eggplant dish on her recommendation and it was so full of flavour! Breakfast is very generous and everything is home made. The small town of Petrele is also a lovely place to stroll and you can climb the castle stairs for an amazing sunset view. We had a beautiful time staying here and only wish it could have been longer! A big thank you to the hostess and her son who were so lovely and helpful with everything. This is a very special family run business and we hope to come back again!

Lovely family business! Great location, great views, nice food, all one can wish for!

The property has magnificent views and is surrounded by nature. You have few local farms which our son really enjoyed taking fotos of the animals. The hospitality of the owners was the cherry on the cake. They would go all out to ensure you feel comfortable and welcomed. The breakfast is typical tradition Albanian breakfast with very fresh ingredients from the farm. I would definitely come back here again!

“Relaxing rural location 35 minutes to TIR”

Great location for airport (35 minutes). Very rural with an insight to countryside of Albania. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely restaurant and tasty dinner and breakfast. Great bedroom with huge balcony that we did yoga on.

Wow! Just wow! Decided to have a night outside the capital and Hotel Emblema didn’t disappoint. The hotel is stunning, the view out of this world and the hospitality and food absolutely exquisite! An absolute must!

I can’t recommend this place enough. Have been travelling throughout Albania for a month and this is by far the best food we’ve eaten. The veal dish is just sublime. Breakfast is excellent. Vegetables and fruits are so fresh and full of flavour. The hotel is also delightful, quiet with lovely countryside views. Indi the owner and chef is so warm and welcoming. We just loved talking to her and eating her food and her passion really shines through. Overall we feel very lucky and grateful to have stayed and eaten there.

The environment and host were superb. Very helpful, gave us very good recommendation for food nearby as at the time, we couldn't have dinner at their accomodation. Cooked breakfast was amazing. Would recommend to friends and family.

“Traditional hotel on a great location managed by a warm family”

Very friendly and welcoming family. Asked for a glass of wine on the room and we got a plate with fruit on top. The rooms are very comfortable with great views .The breakfast is outstanding with a lot of local products. Also nice that you only have to check out by noon.

Unforgettable experience at Hotel Restaurant Emblema in Petrelë From the moment we arrived, Indi and her husband welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality. The room was spotless, the attention was incredibly personalized, and the view from the terrace overlooking Petrelë Castle was simply breathtaking. At night, under the full moon, the castle lit up the landscape — it felt like something out of a fairytale. Every meal and breakfast was homemade, traditional Albanian cuisine, lovingly prepared by our hosts. We also enjoyed a refreshing local Albanian beer that paired perfectly with the atmosphere. We had the chance to visit Petrelë Castle, which dates back to the 3rd century AD, adding a touch of history to this already magical experience. A place where nature, history, and genuine human warmth come together. Highly recommended!
