Overview
Archontiko Petras 1821" is a stone, country style, preserved mansion of 1821, fully renovated in 2008, as a 4 Star Hotel, located in the north of Lesvos Island, in the traditional and preserved village of Petra, near Molyvos. Our hotel is operating throughout all year, where you can explore the four seasons of the island which are unique! The romantically decorated rooms and suite features English and Greek country-style mix and match furniture’s with unique antiques. Every room, as well as, each bathroom, has its own style, decor and color, fulfilling all kinds of tastes. Enjoy our lovely and quite veranda, leading to a green garden, left and right full of fruit bearing trees. Archontiko Petras 1821, has the certification mark of "Greek Breakfast", from Greek National Tourism Association, so you can get a real taste of the local Lesvian cuisine with local Products and handmade recipes. The authentic pebble road, leading to the Hotel, is within a 8 to 10-minute walk, from "agora" center, full of restaurants, traditional taverns, bars and shops and last but not least the sandy beach of Petra. You will listen to the fisherman selling their fish in the alleys of the village, or local salesman with their vehicles selling their goods or even hear the bells on Sunday mornings, of the remarkable church of Petra, build on a volcano rock, with 114 steps, the highlight of the village. The town of Mytilene is 55 km away. The port of Mytilene and Odysseas Elytis airport is 60 Km away. Our goal is for you to feel like home and enjoy our Lesvian hospitality!

“Petra? You Should Stay Here”
That was hilarious experience. Wonderful hospitality, fantastic location for Petra. If you have a car or rented one, molyvos is pretty close. Even sigri, plamori or mythilini are just an hour far distance. If you ask me to explain the Archontiko Petra with a sentence, i'd say, a peaceful home feeling place with an amazing breakfast.

Breakfast was great. Very clean rooms. No noise. The lady at the reception was very nice and friendly. She asked if we drink coffee or Turkish coffee every morning. Fresh squeezed orange juice served right after we sit our table. Everything was perfect. No need to search better one, it is the best! we love it and it was really comfortable with the kids. Thank you!

“It was quite enjoyable”
We stayed here for 3 nights. Even though we arrived before the check-in time, we were assisted. Our room was very comfortable and cleaned meticulously every day. The breakfast was excellent, with everything thoughtfully provided

Location and ambiance is incredible. Looking at the church on top of the hill from your room window is a wow factor. Cute stone mansion, squeaky stairs and photos of the family everywhere. This can be home away from home.

“Lovely beautiful mansion at old town in Petra”
Lovely historical house built in the 1800’s was perfect. Rooms were as seen in the photos. The personnel and also Evgenia were really friendly, we felt like we’re at home. Rooms are clean and we also like the sustainable vision of the hotel, like water and paper saving. Hotel is in the old city but also very close to the seaside. Breakfast was completely homemade. We loved everything.

“Peaceful and Sweet Place To Stay”
It is walking distance to beaches and bars, restaurants in Petra area.(8-9 min). Close to Molivos area ,10 min drive by car. Located in a quiet street .Staff is very helpful. The hotel's hygienic conditions are very good.
