“Avoid this hotel it you care about your health due to the black mould presence, dirt and smell”
Don't think there was anything to like about this hotel apart from the pretty building opposite the hotel!

Absolutely awful. Location poor, shower covered in rust, light hanging down from ceiling in shower. Window in room could not be closed and had to be taped shut. No staff in the morning either in reception or breakfast room.

“A very pleasant stay with family that exceeds our expectations.”
We stayed there to visit Tournai. The room and bathroom were spacious and most importantly, clean. The kids had ample space in the room. There was a small kitchen with all necessary stuffs you need, although we did not cook ourselves. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Everything was functioning properly throughout our stay. We also found a parking spot quite easily in front of the hotel. We liked the location of the hotel. From our windows, the view of the cathedral was magnificent, especially when it was dark outside. The French border is right behind the cathedral. Honestly speaking, we did not expect the hotel to be that good, considering the price we paid for it for 4 people. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Melissa. If we ever go back to that region, we will stay there again.
