Great hotel in a great location. Everything you'd look for in a boutique hotel. Breakfast was amazing and they catered very well for my gluten intolerance. The reception staff were fantastic, especially the lady who also was in the dinning room helping with breakfast. We were having trouble getting a taxi to bring us back from Assisi. One call to her and she sorted us a taxi from Perugia that arrived within 15 minutes! I'm sorry I can't remember your name but you'll know who you are. The hotel is very lucky to have you on the staff.

The best part of our stay was the buffet breakfast which was offered in the only room which displayed any vestiges of the original building which from the half-moon entrance window purports to date from 1786. We were booked to stay for two nights but we had to cut it to one night due to an error on our side. The hotel begrudgingly offered us a refund of €30. The location is undoubtedly and rightly so one of its main draws.

Very comfortable rooms and top staff

The hotel is simply lovely and the location is ideal. Parking was conventient; our room was a clean, comfortable oasis; and breakfast was delicious. Livia at the front desk, along with the entire staff, could not have been more personable or more professional. We look forward to staying at the Locanda della Posta during all future visits to Perugia.

Immaculate hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location on the doorstep of old town Perugia. Loved the complementary coffee in reception. The breakfast room was stunning and a great selection at breakfast also.

Excellent decor and facilities

Wonderful, professional staff who were very friendly and helpful with travel and tourism information/recommendations, both before and during our stay. It is in the perfect location right in the centre of the old town with lovely spacious rooms. Rooms have climate control and window shutters, and were very quiet. Breakfast was truly superb, served in old palazzo rooms complete with frescos and modern art. Tea/coffee/water options available in reception for guests. They very kindly upgraded us on arrival and gave us a late check out too - outstanding service! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Location was very good, the room was very confortable and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful with our needs, even arranging for a "mini portable breakfast" since we had to leavy very early.
