We liked everything about Hotel Morlacchi. Our room was spacious, clean, cool and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The location in the old town - a two-minute stroll from the cathedral - was perfect. And nothing was too much trouble for Michele and the team.

“Genuine hospitality - a beautiful old family run hotel”

It had an old fashioned charm; beautiful Italian decor and is a genuine family run hotel. Very friendly and helpful people. The breakfast was continental with fresh bread and croissants and freshly made coffee, yoghurt and fruit juice. We asked for a room with lots of natural windows and had the top floor room which had lovely views over the rooftops. Perugia is a friendly laid back city, easy to explore and with a great traditional feel mixed in with a young student population. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Location is super central, 1 minute walk to the main square. Breakfast was good and the room was spacious. Mike and Thomas where super warm and friendly. Great Italian experience.

The hotel’s location is excellent—right in the center, in the heart of a wonderful atmosphere. There are many high-quality restaurants around, and everything we ate was delicious. The owner of the hotel is truly amazing—extremely hospitable, cheerful, friendly, and charming. The rooms are very cute and spotless. Overall, everything was wonderful. I definitely highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming, family‑run hotel located on a quiet street right in the historical center of Perugia. The location is perfect—just a very short walk from the town center and ideal for exploring the area. The host and reception staff were amazing: warm, friendly, and always ready to help with bags, taxis, directions, and anything else I needed. Their fluent English and great sense of humor made the experience even more enjoyable. My room was very comfortable, and I truly appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future!

A comfortable room just a short stroll from the city centre

Fabulous traditional family run hotel in a quiet little street in Perugia old town. Wonderful host with fluent English and a sense of humour 😊 happily helped with bags, taxis, directions, etc. Super comfortable bed. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Great location, basic but adequate facilities. Staff great. No working AC in September as was told by owner it’s not allowed due to local laws? It was stuffy at night and as a result didn’t sleep well. Also be prepared for church bells all night (that can’t be helped and was atmospheric, if a bit fanatical!) .

The location is fantastic -just minutes away from the main square on a very quiet street. All the sites were in walking distance. It is not far from the Minimetro station to get you to the rail station. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Great advice on where to eat and other towns to visit in the area.
