Everything was perfect, especially caring hosts. Views from the room are amazing, solid breakfast, fast internet (but I hope you don't need one as it's a place to feel the greatness of nature).

Excellent location, next to cross-country ski tracks (Hundelopie). Cross-country ski stadium with another 45+km of cross-country ski tracks is only few minutes away from the house. Rooms are very comfortable, owners are always around and ready to help guests with any requests. There is a shared fridge available for guests, also guests could use shared kitchen facilities if theRe will be such a need. All rooms are having slightly different layout and I have tried 2 different rooms during my 2-weeks stay. One of the rooms is featuring a 'loft' design, it's a 2 level room with a sitting area and a bedroom on the second level. Internet connection was fast and stable. Ski-lovers will enjoy the storage room where they can leave skis and dry their ski-boots after workout. I have not tried breakfast, but I am sure it's wonderful as everything in Haus Kirchmaier. Looking forward coming back togther with my family.

“Perfect place to stay for the cross-country skiing, the location and the hospitality.”

This is primarily a cross country ski (langlauf) resort and the house is perfectly placed to rent equipment, walk straight on to the track behind the house and walk five minutes to good restaurants. The Kirchmaier family are long term locals and can advise on any aspect of the area. The house is very well appointed and excellently maintained. This was my first stay here - three other couples staying there were regulars and all were on their fifth or sixth visit. I will be back.

Wonderful place to stay. The area is green and quiet, but also very central. The hotel is clean, cosy and good organized. Owners take care of everything very well. They are super kind and helpful. It was beautiful stay and I will be happy to come back there one day.

A comfortable and spacious room providing a very good base for our excursions into the mountains and around the lake. Very friendly and helpful hosts, substantial breakfasts, and good facilities, enabling us to make our own tea at any time of the day. It was very useful to be provided with Achensee cards which allowed us free travel on all the local buses as well as a discount on the Rofanbahn

“Great mini-break”

Very friendly welcome and a comfortable room with a balcony and a small lounge area. Located in a wonderful location between mountains and a very short walk from the lake. Breakfast was really nice and in the evening the Dorfwirt restaurant directly opposite is great for dinner. Very accomodating for dogs too, and a good place to begin a hike up the Bärenkopf. Having (communal) fridge space available was also really helpful for storing food. We really enjoyed our stay here! Thanks for everything!
