The owners ❤️🫶are a wonderful family who work together to run the guest house with care, dedication, and genuine hospitality. From the moment you arrive, you feel warmly welcomed.❤️🫶 They are very kind, friendly, and always ready to help, making guests feel comfortable and at home. Their hospitality is truly special and comes from the heart. The place itself has a beautiful antique style, full of charm and traditional character. It is located in a very quiet area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The property is extremely clean, with super clean rooms that are well maintained and very comfortable. Everything is organized with attention to detail, which makes the stay even more pleasant. The food service is amazing, with delicious traditional homemade dishes prepared with care. You can enjoy authentic local flavors in a warm family atmosphere, which adds a special touch to the whole experience. The guest house is surrounded by trees, flowers, birds, and fresh air, creating a peaceful and natural environment. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy calm surroundings. The hosts are absolutely lovely and greet you like family. A genuine stay, and the natural and cultural heritage are mind-blowing! If you're travelling by car, the road isn't asphalted which is 100% part of the charm but low bottomed vehicles or very precious drivers won't enjoy driving up :)

It is always a pleasure to stay in this amazing traditional house in Permet. The view of the Vjosa river from the house balcony is one of the best I have experienced. The family is always so welcoming and lovely and the food is to die for. It is a very special place and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend some time among nature and good people.

What an absolutely amazing stay. Kristaq and Florida were such wonderful and wholesome hosts. Such a beautiful old family home, we were warmly greeted with some raki and homemade melon. The view from their home is just magical. It is a bumpy dirt road out to their house, and we were most grateful for their son collecting us in permet. Please do yourself a favour and stay here. Beautifully cooked home dinner and breakfast- Kristaq is super proud of his home and his family and so he should be it’s absolutely gorgeous. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. It was a wonderful stay.

This is an old, rural farmhouse, up an unpaved bumpy track 30 mins outside Permet run by the family which has owned it for generations. The bedrooms are in the traditional Albanian style, high ceilings, huge window seats, great views. Dinner and breakfast are generally served on the terrace outside, which has wonderful views across the valley. The hosts are warm and welcoming. You will love this if you like staying in very rural, traditional places that don't make you fell like a tourist.

Beautiful traditional house with amazing views over the Vjossa valley, mountains and monasteries. The food is nice and the overall atmosphere very cosy and welcoming.

Amazing to be in such an old traditional house high above the Vjosa river. Florida was a very caring excellent host and her home cooked meal was the best we have had so far on our Albanian travels.

Food was fabulous and the view in the morning was great. Rooms are spacious and airy.

The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They cook excellently and at a great price. The food is made from ingredients from the garden, everything is fresh and local. If you are going on a freestyle vacation like us, they will be happy to recommend what to see and visit. I have to admit that the place is difficult to access, but if you arrange it with the hosts in advance, they will come and pick you up. We stayed for two nights. We managed almost the entire first trip in a rented Fiat Tipo, but the hosts drove us the last 2 km. The next day, we went on a trip to Langarica Canyon, and after returning, we left the car at the bus stop next to the Ile Bridge and walked the rest of the way, which is also an option, but it's a 3 km hike and can be easily managed. When we left, they dropped us off right at the bridge so we didn't have to carry our luggage. But there were also people with us who drove all the way up, or people who left their cars in town and had their host pick them up from there and then drive them back with their luggage. “Lovely guesthouse with very welcoming hosts.”

Lovely guesthouse outside of Permet. As others have mentioned the road up is a little rustic but the owners are extremely helpful and would have collected us if needed (fortunately we had a jeep, so managed fine). The weather when we visited was extremely hot and without a fan the room was very warm at night. However, the owners were very welcoming, the evening meal was superb, the views were amazing and we had a lovely stay.

The best accommodation we had during our 10 days in Albania! The owners were extremely hospitable, and the food was not only delicious but also fairly priced. What impressed us most, however, was the place itself. Sitting on the terrace in one of the comfortable chairs, enjoying the breathtaking view and the peaceful atmosphere, was simply unforgettable! We managed to drive up with a Hyundai i20. The road requires careful driving, but it’s absolutely doable—and definitely worth it! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

Exceptional stay – felt like home! Our stay at Permet Guest House was unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming — they truly made us feel like part of their family. The food was outstanding, made with fresh vegetables from their garden and full of love and flavor. The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the Vjosa River and surrounding mountains. We woke up to the peaceful sound of birds and felt like we had stepped back in time, staying in a traditional house that’s a protected cultural monument. Everything about our stay was perfect. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!
