“perfect”

This was our second visit to Terra Nera, and it truly feels like a home away from home. The owners are incredibly kind, and the place itself is just perfect. It’s the ideal spot to relax for a few days or even a week. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the owners, and the staff are excellent too. I even managed to book the wrong year (for next year!), but it was sorted out quickly and easily — what could have been a disaster ended up perfectly. We can’t wait to come back again!

This was our 2nd time in Santorini and this time we were looking for a place to relax since we did the sightseeing more or less when we have been there the 1st time. Thus we decided for Terra Nera Suites on Perivolos Beach based on the ratings we have seen from other customers. We have not been disappointed! Apart from the clean, spacious, quiet and all in all wonderful location we felt welcomed all the time. In particular, we would like to thank our hosts Marianna und Yorgios for their warmth and kindness they offered to us every single day. (this including their staff in the restaurant and on the beach) In today's times this is neither usual nor a matter of course and thus to highly assess! We stayed there for a full week and we fully experienced what we were looking for - a relaxing, wonderful and friendly holiday.

“One of the most relaxing and wonderful hotels stays we have had.”

This was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had! You are welcomed at the door by Fatma who works in reception and provided with a drink after your journey. We were shown around afterwards and got to meet the family who runs the hotel. It is a family run business by Yorgos, Marianna and Katerina. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy, and Stella who cleaned the room everyday kept it in top shape. The beach is right by the restaurant and they save you a table and a sunbed every day. The beach was lovely volcanic black sand and it was not rocky at all getting into the water like in Kamari. The food is delicious and you can order food and drinks to your sunbed. We had an incredibly relaxing stay which is exactly what we were looking for and we felt so well taken care of every day. We were greeted by the staff every morning which was really lovely :) As we went for my partners birthday they even organised a cake for him and prosecco for the room on arrival. They also organised taxis for us to travel around the island, and the taxi company were brilliant as well. When we left everyone were there to say goodbye, and we did not want to leave. We cannot fault them one bit and we are so excited to return one day! Also good luck to Sabrina one of the waitresses going off to study nursing, you're going to do amazing :)

“Perfect location for vacation!”

Everything was just perfect. It is probably one of the best choices I ever made for vacation purposes. Suits are very well designed and are perfect for a family of 4-5 persons. There are not many of them, so you will not be disturbed - the atmosphere is relaxed and comfy. The infrastructure (the pool, parking , restaurant, sun beds) is available and free of charge. The quality of food in the restaurant is great - they offer a variety of traditional greek and Italian cuisine. Special thanks to the staff. It is family run business and they really care about each guest. We felt like home and we plan to come back in future!

Perfect location on the beach , only 6 suites and everything was fantastic, simply the best hotel experience I have ever had. The owner and staff clearly really care about their guests and it comes though in every aspect of the stay. I simply cannot recommend anywhere better ever.

The hotel is just stunning, from the beautiful pool area to the fabulous rooms. Everything was spotlessly clean and we loved the fact it was small and you felt part of the family as soon as you arrived. The restaurant is fabulous and the food was so wonderful. “Home Away from Home in Santorini”

Now that I'm back, I'm thrilled to confirm the many positive reviews this place has received. This is a family-run business that shows great care and love in everything they do. They not only focus on providing high-quality service but also ensure you feel at home and well taken care of. My 10-year-old daughter fell in love with Yorgos and Marianna, who treated her like family. The photos don't do justice to how wonderful this place is. The restaurant food is excellent, and they offer direct services to the beach, where you have reserved front-row spots. It was an amazing experience, and we will definitely return if we ever come back to Santorini.

“I can't think of anything about Terra Nera that I didn't like. It really was a great 5 day break mad”

Located on the beach, in central Perivolos, the Terra Nera Suites was in a perfect location, on a lovely Island. I was lucky enough to stay in one of their Deluxe Suites which includes a private courtyard and pool. This was right outside the main pool. The staff were amazing, including the owner Yorgos and his wife. Breakfast options were delicious, especially the Greek yogurt with Honey, as were lunch or dinner options from their restaurant. Parking was provided, and I recommend having a car so you can see more of Santorini as it's such a lovely island.

Terra nera suites was a great place, the pool was right next to the rooms and felt like a private pool and was never crowded. It is great if you want a more chill location further away from the busy cities like Fira. The room we’re very clean and the reception and owners were friendly and always happy to help

“We stayed in Santorini many times and this is by far the best.”

There are many things we like about Terra Nera. First and foremost, its the staff which makes it stand out. The family who owns the place is there everyday to make sure we are well looked after. They provide good advice to us for travel tips around the island. After 7 days' stay, they made us feel so welcome that we didn't want to leave. Then the location is perfect just right off the beach next to the restaurant. I enjoyed having a morning dip in the pool right outside after an early morning jog on the beach, and also a late night dip in the pool to cool off after a day out. Because they only have a small number of suites, privacy and peace is almost guaranteed. We also like the food which is Greek/Italian focused but also with a choice of fresh seafood. We tried other restaurants on the beach and we kept coming back to them because of the quality, freshness, value and the service. We also enjoyed the architect-designed split level suite which is well-equipped and very spacious (by far the most spacious of the places we stayed on the island). There is a private roof terrace as well as table/chairs outside our suite right in front of the private pool. Also full marks for cleaniness ( a key requirement for us), with fresh towels and sheets provided every day. Breakfast was an option in our package but the choice is good. We can take the breakfast in the restaurant, outside or in our suite or on the beach (we tried them all for variety)

Idyllic stay with perfect hosts!
