Overview
Nestled in Perhentian Island, The Barat Perhentian offers relaxing stays with free WiFi access in the public areas. This beachfront property houses a restaurant and a diving centre. The room was a stand alone with a terrace facing the jetty. Great for that morning coffee or evening drink. The staff all spoke great English so it was easy to communicate and the room was recently renovated.

“Perfect honeymoon holiday”
The restaurant was the best restaurant from the eiland. Don’t even try to eat somewhere else. The staff is so friendly and the quality of food was the best. You can see they have the Hygiene on the highest rank

The location is very good to start boat trips or to walk until the beautiful beaches in front of coral view resort or perhentian island resort when you can easily see turtles or other coral reef fishes including Nemo ! The staff is very helpful and friendly!

“Wonderful experience to remember”

“Highly Recommend esp for Family holiday”
Very friendly staff, the sea facing chalets were perfect for family group and 2 units were good to fit our party of 7 people. The restaurant on the property catered to all the meals easily and the dinner BBQ was definitely a family favorite. Also very easy to organise activities such as diving and snorkelling, water taxis etc from the property.

“Best Spot for Family Vacation”
Overall it was the best resort in Perhentian Besar. Food was slightly pricy. Yet the rooms and total environment were well maintained and super clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. From Reception, Waiter Waitress including Housekeeping. Bathroom were clean.No smell on bed nor bedbugs. Overall, Mr.Lee and his team took excellent care of our stay in Barat. Definitely will come back soon.

Brilliant water front accomodation. Just short walk away to the beach for laying on the sand. Great bbq but go early as the queue is long! Short walk up the beach and through the gap takes you to turtle point if you want to snorkle for giant green turtles. Snorkle tour B was fab
