“Choose this place!”

Senja Bay Resort was amazing! We loved the stuff and the location. The rooms are very basic so if you're staying here, don't have any high expectations coming here. We were very pleased with the room. The air con was brilliant - strong. Nice view of the sea. Very good vibe, people are so friendly, helpful and very polite. Comparing with more luxurious Perhentian Island Resort on the other island, I'd still choose Senja Bay Resort even though the rooms were nicer in PIR. The vibe and friendliness wins for us on Coral Bay. We absolutely loved it and I'd 100% recommend this place!!! Btw the lady in yellow station little kiosk near Senja does banging mango shakes for 12 RM, and also delicious potatoe puffs and spring rolls.

I know the island well. It has a laid back vibe and there's great snorkelling if you know where to go. The room was basic but comfortable with a fantastic view from its balcony.

Best place to stay in Perhentian Kecil, absolutely beautiful setting and falling asleep with the sound of waves was lovely. Improved breakfast offerings whilst we were there with more choices so thank you for listening to the reviews. Also very few ants - keep the room clean and ensure you don’t leave food stuff unsealed. Great paved walk to the village from Coral Bay with the jungle and beaches on either sides. Interesting wildlife too.

“Nice stay in perhentians”

Located in a quiet beach (coral beach), employees are super helpful. Breakfast was great! Free water provided. Internet is also not too bad

“Paradise !”

This resort sits on a piece of paradise, the location is unbelievable and stunning. On arrival we were welcomed with a much needed cool glass of juice and got assistance carrying our luggage up to our room on the 3rd level. The rooms up here don't have AC and only a fan (thats why they're cheaper) however based on the view and the large trees around, we didnt think an AC was necessary. And the AC units have obstructed views. The room is simple but all we needed, the bed was comfortable, there is a cupboard and small storage area as well as a tea/coffee station. Our room had 2 windows which we left open most of the time to let air flow through. On the small verandah were 2 chairs and a rope to hang wet swimming garments. The are a lot of ants on the wooden walkway which were a bit annoying but it is essentially a forrest area so that is to be expected. Avoid walking bare foot and the ants wont be as frustrating. During your stay, look out for montior lizards on the rocks below the rooms, there are also many birds to see and even bats. Down at the beach there are many loungers to enjoy, and you can even order food and drinks from Senja's cafe to be delivered to your lounger! The café has some good food, we enjoyed the fried calamari and chicken chop. There is also a water dispenser and you can ask for a small cup of ice, free of charge to cool your water down. The water is beautifully clear and you can snorkel right in front of the hotel as well as catch water taxis to other parts of Perhentian. For adventure seekers, you can follow the path from Senja all the way to the main village, it will take over an hour but you can stop at the different beaches along the way for a refreshing swim and buy a drink or snack at a few places. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they can even deliver luggage to the jetty when you depart the island. Lastly there is an 8 pm movie each night in the cafe, they screen new Netflix releases.

In an amazing location! Staff were lovely and helpful. We also got breakfast included which was a nice surprise as we weren’t expecting it. It was nice and clean except the problem with the ants. Staff also took our bags to port for us which was great and very helpful!

I've stayed here a few times and it doesn't change, it needs a serious tidy up and refit, the location on the bay is excellent with beach and swimming directly in front. This bay is probably the cheapest when it comes to eating and drinking.

Great location, really close to the beach. You could walk barefoot from your room to the beach. Sun beds available at the beach. Nice and friendly staff.

“Perfect sea view with perfect service”

Such a beautiful location with an absolutely stunning sea view. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making our stay truly relaxing. What made this place especially memorable, though, was the incredible staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel completely at home. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would happily come back again.

“Very nice beach side huts”

Very nice location right on the beach, in the part where swimming is better. From the beach you can find by short snorkling to south decent corals and lot of fish. The staff is friendly and professional. From 3rd row bungalow there's a nice view over the bay and the forest starts right behind you. We enjoyed more this room than 2nd row bungalow, even without AC.
