The resort is a little tired, but the location is sublime! Fabulous snorkeling right off the main beach.

Wonderful place . Quiet and peaceful. Right on the beach. Hire a snorkel and just off the beach you can find the sea turtles en right from the jetti you can find beautiful underwater life.

The resort’s location is well situated. We got a whole beach with good amount of beach chairs. The sea at Perhentian Besar is much better for swimming. We liked how there was a pipe right outside our chalet to wash our legs etc before getting into our room. We appreciated the luggage being brought to our rooms directly coming off of the boat. The pricing of the snorkeling package was also quite worth it when bought through the hotel.

We loved the resort,very secure and peaceful.staff very friendly and professional happy to assist at any time. We loved the surroundings and we had the pool (very nice and very warm water yayy) almost for ourselves:-)) buffet food was ok ish we are not too fussy.clean place maintained well. The resort is very nice and the beach is beautiful with lots of sea turtles. Wildlife and nature is very beautiful. Staff is friendly and take care of your boats to the mainland. There is a place to leave luggage in case of early check in or late check out.

Wonderful beach!

Pros: Excellent location on a very beautiful beach. Perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. No music, no fun, no TV and no Wi-Fi in the rooms. Cons: The resort is quite dated and needs renovation. Furniture and bathroom facilities are worn out. The staff (with a few exceptions) is just "okay" – they do their jobs but lack a proactive approach. Verdict: This place has huge potential due to its location, but it desperately needs investment.
