Good place for first day arrive. Nearby police station and jetty. Friendly to young people. Not friendly to old travellers, because need work many steps to find the homestay. Facilities ok, need bring your own washing things for shower and so on. No hot water for shower, so maybe cold if not go snowing or diving. Aircom is good, function well. A bit far from beach. If need long stay should be best choice. The door is easy to be opened, so not very safe to keep important stuff inside. Hope next time there can be some changes for the lock or can add one more lock inside or outside.

“An amazing view and great place to stay.”
A great budget option in the Perhentian Islands within the Fishermen Village. The property stands above the village giving sweeping views of the village, the sea and Besar Island. The property is a 5min walk to the main part of the village and there are numerous restaurants available and small shops. Also, a great snorkelling site is within a 10min walk with lots of anemone coral and anemone (Nemo) fish - right in front of the Nemo Chalet. Rooms are basic but very comfortable. Air conditioning is quiet but powerful. Anis was a wonderful host. She came to greet me at the jetty on my arrival, helped me book a local snorkel excursion and also my return boat ride to the mainland. Some previous reviews criticised the steps leading up to the property. I disagree with this criticism. I agree that the steps may be a problem for weaker unfit people or for travellers who need to carry 20kg cases up the steps. If you fall into either of these categories it might be better to go some where else since getting up the steps may be a struggle. I'm moderately fit and was only carrying an 8kg backpack so had no issues whatsoever. I counted about 70 steps going up the hill to Perhentian Anis' View.

i like everything about this chalet. it is a good value for its price, the owner was very friendly and helpful. the place is just nice, a cozy one to rest after a long day full of activities.

basic but really great accommodation. the room is comfortable and the staff are very helpful for organising snorkelling tour, ferry etc. Located in the village with some nice restaurants close by but you will need to get a taxi boat to long beach.

“Good”
Stayed here for one night as came to the island early. Extremely basic but as advertised and had no issues whatsoever. Bed was comfortable enough and had AC. This is in the fisherman’s village so you can get quick boat taxis to Long beach if you’re looking for cheaper accom!
