“Excellent value and great food worth the extra walk”

Excellent restaurant for rustic local dishes served with a smile, breakfast was buffet style and it was no nice to be able to choose something other than the usual ‘tostada’ (We had fruit and yoghurt with fresh orange juice). While the room was on the small side it had everything we needed and was quiet for a good nights sleep. Best of all was the price! Couldn’t believe that we got dinner, bed and breakfast for 65€. Worth the extra walk off the Camino without doubt

Easy parking and check-in, clean, quiet and comfortable room, excellent shower, very nice self-serve continental breakfast with good fresh bread, decent cured ham, and espresso-based coffees made from a proper machine. There is a small range of local produce for sale in the café/bar. Very friendly staff.

The young woman at the reception/bar was unfriendly and rude.

The waitress noticed I had accidentally handed over two notes stuck to each other and returned one. I was very thankful

The rooms were perfect, a good size, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom great and it was extremely clean.

Very nice location, good parkings even for bigger vehicles. Awesome Food options for an extremly good rate. Many awesome hiking spots nearby. I highly recommend to stop by.

Location excellent for a relaxing few days away. Close to the Portuguese border. Plenty of free parking on site.

O Pereiro is a good place to stop if you are walking the Via de La Plata/Camino Sanbres, but beware as this hotel is in O Periero de Arriba and there is a steep climb from the Camino to the hotel. The bonus is a downhill walk to A Gudiña to start your next day. The hotel is new, everything works as it should and is incredibly clean - if slightly austere. The staff are superb, especially the manageress, and the restaurant serves good food at a very reasonable price and is therefore very popular. The beds are very comfortable, the bedrooms have space age heating and are well insulated from the restaurant and public areas so are quiet.

The breakfast was awful, we asked what can we have for a breakfast and a girl couldn’t normal tell us what can we have, children were hungry, a girl told that children can’t have one more croissant( that was the first time I saw so awful situation(
