“Charming rustic stay”

We loved our bungalow room and all the space we had. The food was generally good and breakfast watching the birds in the garden was a lovely way to start the day.

Excellent service, very friendly staff and a beautiful hotel

The property is surrounded by lush tress and plants giving it a tropical feel and attracting many native birds. It is quiet and serene. The spa treatments were amazing, the breakfast was very good and generous. The bed was very comfortable. Water pressure in shower was good. Staff helpful. Unlimited filtered water refill after you buy the first one from the mini bar.

Let me save you the trouble: if you’re expecting a true high-end experience at Aságua Hotel, lower your expectations. This place is all style, no substance. Yes, the hotel is visually stunning. The architecture, the rooms, the proximity to the airport — all of that is great. But none of it matters when you’re left 15 hours without water and the hotel’s only response is a shrug and a “not our fault.” Excuse me? That’s not just poor service, it’s blatant irresponsibility.

I would highly recommend Sazagua Hotel. It is set in beautiful, tropical grounds with lots of lush vegetation and birdlife. Breakfast and food in the restaurant is of an extremely high standard and there is a good choice. Service is excellent at all times. It was a very relaxing place to stay. We also had massages and the hotel organised a coffee tour for us. This was a memorable day . We went to a small coffee farm high up in the hills where David, our guide went to a lot of time and trouble to explain life and the processes involved in coffee production. We were then treated to a delicious lunch. The whole experience felt very natural and authentic and David was an excellent tour guide who spoke English. I would also recommend a visit to Salento and the Corcora Valley.

Bird tree loaded with food, hours of entertainment. Hotel close to shopping via taxi. Food was great and plentiful. There is a short walk to the end of road. Great for birding

This is a great retreat. So peaceful with attentive staff who provide excellent service from the minute you arrive until your departure. The food particularly the breakfast is excellent. We did a hike in Cocorro valley and a trip to a coffee farm. Both were arranged by the hotel and are highly recommended.

The breakfast was wonderful as was the lunch service and menu. The grounds are a tropical paradise and the staff is very helpful and attentive.

This is a beautiful hotel set in an incredibly lush private garden teeming with bird life, with a nice swimming pool and lots of large established trees and plants. Once inside the perimeter you really don't want to leave. The room was enormous with an equally enormous bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to accommodate your belongings. There was a very large private balcony with comfortable chairs and hammocks. The balcony had a view over the whole garden. The room and bathroom had everything you might need . There was also a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The breakfast was very good with everything cooked fresh to order. The dining area was open plan with outside tables looking into the beautiful garden. The staff were very welcoming helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
