The hosts are lovely and treat you like a king: tasty food, interesting chats, and a great atmosphere. The house is really nice with a comfortable couch and bed. Parking nearby is not an issue. It is my first place in Cyprus, where all of the kitchen appliances were perfectly clean, and so was the rest of the house

Oh my goodness! This stay exceeded all our expectations and everything we wanted and more. Great communication from the owners and quick responses to my questions. The guesthouse was so well kitted out it had everything you needed and things you hadn't thought of. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen was kitted out with everything. The bonus was the coffee machine loaded with coffee beans. Roger and Bettina are amazing hosts and such beautiful souls. It was an honour to meet them. What can I say about breakfast? Fab-u-lous!!!! Never in your life will you experience a breakfast so healthy, tasty, fresh and my husband said the scrambled eggs he ordered were the best he ever had. Roger is a 5* Michelin standard chef. 💜 We can't wait to go back again ASAP. The village is beautiful and a photographer's dream. The old buildings are something to be seen. It's like stepping back in time. Plenty to do and see in the area and places to eat with amazing traditional Cypriot food. We really didn't want to leave! Thank you Roger and Bettina for making our stay for a wedding nearby, so special. Xxx

“Cozy, beautiful property with super hosts and the most amazing breakfasts.”

A cozy place in a quiet village. Excellently renovated apartment with a small lounge, kitchen area and bathroom on the ground floor and a super comfy double bed upstairs. The courtyard is surrounded be flowers, its secluded and quite beautiful. The breakfasts were on another level - the best we have experienced in years of traveling and staying at hotels - Bettina and Roger are extremely accommodating but do not intrude. It was lovely to sit and have a beer with them on the last night. This is now our “go to” return property in the area. Even the dog loved it 🙂

Our stay at Guesthouse Gonia has been so relaxing. It has everything you need with a wonderful host. The breakfasts have been so delicious. We will be back!

The breakfast was very good, very good coffee and home made breads! We loved it! The room, kitchen, bathroom were all very cosy! Well done! The hosts told us about a restaurant nearby was a real local restaurant. We like it very much!

“Amazing hosts in an amazing traditional village”

We had a great time in Pera. The village is lovely with lots of old buildings. The studio was well equipped. The bedroom on the loft with the most comfortable bed and bedding we had in Cyprus. The kitchenette had everything we needed for cooking dinner. The hosts provided the best home-cooked breakfasts every day with a lovely chat afterwards. There are good hiking destinations nearby. They even provided a gas heater because it was quite cold after sunset.

Breakfast was very delicious with homemade bread. We really liked it. The host was very helpful and gave many great tips what to visit. The place has everything what you might need.

Every little detail in the studio aparrment was very well thought. Perfect organization, super clean, well equiped and great taste on every single item that made up the cosy space. The owners have done an amazing job renovating this traditional house, both inside and at the courtyard, conserving its traditional style. Very friendly owners, helping with everything needed. Will visit again for sure
