“Idyllic rural location with lovely hosts”

This is the most lovely place. Incredibly peaceful in a beautiful rural location with super views. The building itself is really special, a stunning architect designed space. Our room was huge, with an extra area with two single beds, a lovely bathroom too. Andrea and Claudia were charming and helpful with lots of advice on where to go and help with booking restaurants on the nights they were not serving dinner (it was low season and we were the only people staying). Andrea cooked us the most delicious dinner one night and breakfast was also really good with lots of homemade jams and juice. There are really pretty hilltop towns to visit locally and a stunning beach about 40 minutes away at Silvi Marina (try Loasi beach club for sunbeds/umbrellas and a delicious lunch). So much to see and do around here. We highly recommend Cignale as a fabulous place to stay with the loveliest hosts to look after you.

Andrea is a charming host creating a warm atmosphere an fantastic meals for Dinner. The location is easy to reach, calm and the pool is cool. What else do you need for a relaxing vacation?

We had a fantastic time. Claudia and Andrea are incredibly welcoming and do everything to make guests feel at home. The rooms and restaurant are beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The food was a highlight – breakfast and dinner were fresh, flavorful, and full of delicious vegetables and fruit. The pool was perfect, and we enjoyed the lively atmosphere on weekends when day guests came to swim and eat.

“Great stay in a magic place!”

Hands down we had the best food in our stay in Abruzzo. Food at the restaurant was of exceptional quality with some refined touch. We appreciated the welcoming and care from Claudia and Andrea throughout the whole stay. The most amazing thing was however the sense of warmth and the beauty of the restaurant hall: the fireplace, good music, the piano, artworks, open view kitchen, the view on the mountains... It carries vibes that are truly unique and makes want to come back someday. Room was very spacious towards the minimalistic-vintage style.

Lovely tranquil location on top of a hill surrounded by sunflower-covered hills with distant views of the mountains. The room was super comfortable. There was a lovely swimming pool and terrace and a modern dining room with a glass-fronted kitchen. The stay for us was made brilliant by the hard working owners, Andrea and Claudia, who lavished care and attention on the evening meals and breakfast. We just relied on the chef's recommendations and the food was of the highest quality and ridiculously good value

Andrea and Claudia welcomed us into their beautiful home and treated us with warmth and kindness. The location is stunning, you can’t stop looking at the mountains. The room was warm and cozy and the food, wine and atmosphere when dining was wonderful. An amazing place to stay whilst exploring the beauty of Abruzzo. Thank you for such a fantastic experience.

The room we stayed in was comfortable .The food breakfast and dinner were excellent along with the beautiful setting. The pool area was well maintained with plenty of seating not forgetting the backdrop of the Gran Sasso mountains.The hosts Claudia and Andrea were very attentive.

Our stay was faultless. Claudia and Andrea are exceptionally welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Our double bedroom was immaculate and super comfy. The views are immense. The swimming pool is brilliant. The passion for local food and drink are clear and it is the icing on the cake! By car, Penne and Pescara are within easy driving distance. We hope very much to return. Squisito!

Beautiful setting and very well kept property of high quality. Andrea and Claudia work tirelessly to run their business and even when tired they are entertaining and great. The family room was very large and stayed fairly cool despite highs/lows of 34/22, so air conditioning was not absolutely necessary and the fan did a good job. The pool and dining area are lovely to spend time around wtih a fantastic vibe (music included). Dinner was both elevated yet simple, with a good variety of quality products. Breakfast is very typical Italian, but I believe you can ask for a bit more variety if needed (we were still full from dinner). Took very good care of our son.

Absolutely beautiful location, it’s simply the best of Abruzzo! The property has got everything you can dream of.. stunning mountain views, lovely gardens, fantastic pool, tastefully decorated spacious rooms, the best food and most importantly - the friendliest and nicest owners Andrea and Claudia!

We spent 5 days at Cignale and our time there has been absolutely fabulous on every level - the atmosphere, the food, the garden and pool - pure bliss! We were very warmly welcomed by our hosts and perfectly taken care of throughout our stay with delicious meals and wine :) We will definitely return!
