Very pleasant, spacious and well equipped. We have never experienced such pleasant hosts. The breakfast was excellent.

Everything was very good indeed. Homemade breakfast was wonderful, the hosts very hospitable and we enjoyed a very comfortable stay.

This Guesthouse is situated at the edge of the pretty village of Penmarche, about two miles from thw Atlantic coast of Brittany. It was in a very quiet location, accessed by a track from the main road a few hundred metres away, so we were undisurbed by any noise of vehicles etc. Our room was in a self-contained suite, separate from the main house, which had one bedroom and a shower room on the first floor with a small lounge and, remarkably, a second toilet located on the ground floor, which opened on to the pretty garden. Our hosts, Sylvie and Didier, were a delightful couple, whose ability to speak English enabled us to talk with them at length, despite our execrable French language ability. We enjoyed a six day stay at La Dunette, which we used as a touring base to explore the area. We found South Finisterre to be a fascinating place with a dramatic, wild coastline and many ancient and interesting sites to visit. Sylvie was kind enough to cook for us twice during and this was a real bonus because her cuisine was excellent. We enjoyed a lovely stay at La Dunette and happily recommend it to any future visitors.

Clean calm and lovely little flat to stay in for a great value for money! The hostess is so kind and makes a great breakfast. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family merci Sylvie :)

We very much liked the hosts Silvie and Michel they were great company, and nothing was too much trouble, including advice and help with the French language, Silvie and Michel both spoke English but encouraged us to speak a little more French and improve what little we had. Silvie's cooking was amazing, 2 evenings we ate with our host's, great food and wine, Michel is a great conversationalist and very knowledgeable, we both learned many new things from him. Breakfast was enjoyable, lots of home made preserves and honey from the bee hives in the garden, we all sat around the breakfast table and had great conversations, especially about " porridge oats" - it's a private joke!!! The accommodation was perfect, great attention to detail, very quiet, comfortable bed, lots of hot water and a great living space and outside decked area. We have found a real gem of a Chambre d'hote here. Merci Beaucoup Silvie and Michel et a biento.
