I loved the food on offer,they easily switched to a vegetarian option when asked, this is very important to us. The sheets were fresh and clean and the mattress was super comfy and really big.The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. The hosts were kind and thoughtful.

I loved the location up in the mountains, really beautiful, quiet, clean air etc. Located at a family farm with lots of fruit trees and coffee. Pusman and his wife were great, very kind. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting some a little peace.

“I can’t recommend the Bali Mountain Cabin enough.”

I can’t quite decide whether it was the fact that Wayan and Ketut were such incredible hosts, or the location, that made this experience so fabulous. I have had to conclude that both were equally wonderful. Wayan & Ketut went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and happy and would have done anything to make sure that I was. The cabin itself and location were absolutely perfect for an opportunity to escape the crowds and enjoy the peace and magic of the jungle and proved to be the perfect place to escape, rest, reflect and write. Wayan and Ketut made me feel a part of the family and I can’t recommend the Bali Mountain Cabin enough.

I loved the seclusion, yet that it was in a well maintained garden full of edible fruits and vegetables. Only one other cabin on the estate. Beautiful jungle walks available. Perfect for solo yoga practice, writing. Catching sunrise. Seeing the stars.

I fell in love with the location. It's located up in the mountains away from hustle and bustle of the city life, away from pollution . What came as a surprise is the high speed uninterrupted wifi service straight from the satellite . Couldn't have asked for more.

The cabin is very remote from the common tourist areas in the heart of Bali in the middle of the jungle. Ideal for people who are looking for a retreat. The host and his family are super kind and helpful. They prepared lunch and dinner for us which was for an affordable price. We could also rent a scooter for a day trip. (Don’t if you are afraid of any kind of insects ;))

Fantastic stay after Canggu's hustle and bustle. Surrounded by nature, but with all the necessary services: nice bathroom with good water pressure , fast internet, etc. Great communication with the owner Mr. Pusman as well, will be back, thanks Rafael .

Excellent location for your holiday. The family who own this beautiful forrest cabin is super friendly and are always available to help out with any need. The land has many trees and fruits for you to choose from. Delicious and fresh coconut and many other fruits. I definitely recommend staying here. Do you need guidance in bali for any attraction or location, pusman (owner) is there for you. He speaks fluently english (which is very usefull in bali) He has friends and knows places for you to visit which you won't discover on your own. Do you want a fresh tattoo?. He can recommend you to an master tattoo artist. Have medical needs, he helps you without problems. You can rent an scooter from him directly for lower prices. This cabin is located up in the mountain and still close by villages and city. Very good wifi all over the place and you can request delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. Many beautiful temples, waterfalls, rice fields and hotsprings all around. Im staying here for almost one month and its the ideal place to ground yourself with nature. And the peace surrounding this cabin is extraordinary.. If you have any problems or questions, don't hesitate to contact the owner. He will gladly help you out to make your time here wonderfull and create memories you will never forget. If I can, Iam coming back to this wonderfull place. B

“Not to be missed”

Fantastic place surrounded by forest - true to its name. We enjoyed trekking around the jungle, solitude and remote location. Don't miss going down to the river - the views are mind-blowing and you feel a true connection to nature.

Pusman (the owner) told me on the way to his place that he hoped to have the WOW factor and he certainly has achieved that! If you want to experience real timeless Bali, head here. If you want to take time for a silent retreat or practice yoga, head here. Food was exceptional and breakfast every day was a work of art. I spent 8 delightful days here, high speed wifi is now available in the cabin. A second cabin is under construction. You pretty much have the place to yourself, some beautiful walks to take and friendly locals will greet you on the way. UNESCO heritage rice fields and temples too. Hot springs and waterfalls nearby. Pusman can arrange all for you Why would you go anywhere else in Bali?

Staff was super helpful with suggestions and arranging check-in and checkout. The room was as clean as you can get it in the forest, the bed was comfortable and all the amenities were there.

“Wonderful cabin inside the wild nature of Bali.”

My partner and I spent a week in this magical space near a beautiful temple Pura Luhur Muncaksari, hot springs, waterfalls, Batukaru volcano and real culture from Bali. It is a really wonderful space to enjoy nature. And the neighbors around are very friendly, smiling and create a nice atmosphere around. In the space there are many fruit trees and different types of plants. At the same time, the host helped us with everything we needed. We loved the breakfast and the family energy is really lovely. There are nearby towns where you can find small shops. It's easier when you have a motorcycle. We recommend this space for travelers.

“I will definitely go back to the forest cabin, next time with someone else (or two).”

Staying here was the highlight of my Bali trip. I travelled solo and had my own “silent retreat” at this forest cabin. There is no WiFi or phone reception, so this is the place to disconnect. However, if you walk about 7 mins near the temple entrance (Pura Luhur Muncak Sari), there is excellent internet reception. This is a large and famous temple (built 11th century) with beautiful views in a very peaceful setting. There is a shed with a couple of benches near the front entrance to sit and enjoy the view and do some internet (if you must). Walk further another 5 to 10 mins to go to the small village to buy fruits and have interactions with village people. There are no restaurants, so I relied on the owner to provide the meals. The owner (Pak tiara) is a kind-hearted young man who wanted to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. The meals were 50k/per meal/person. The local village musician can teach the bamboo musical instrument (Gamelan) for 150k (about 1.5 hours). A local village person to come and do massage at the cabin for 150k/hour. There are many walks and hiking with beautiful mountains and lush views. Ask Pak tiara for details. If you are a serious trekker, the trek guide is 500k (same price whether 1 or 3 people) going up the mountain (all-day trip and is very tough). Overnight camping trips are also apparently possible if you hire more people (I didn’t try, maybe next time). The bamboo cabin itself is very clean and tidy. Pak-tiara cooked the meals, coffee etc for me in a kitchen located about 30 metres away. I convinced him to let me use the kitchen to make my coffee throughout the day. He was a little shy to let me use it because the kitchen area is a little messy and also used as a storage area. The cabin is located on his farm, where he harvests coffee, papaya, jack fruit, avocado, ginger, turmeric, banana, panili, etc.
