Overview
Situated near a fishing jetty in Kampung Mangkok, Sekepeng Penarek is 30 minutes boat ride away from the islands of Redang, Perhentian and Lang Tengah. All six beach chalets afford unobstructed views of the majestic South China Sea. The Studio, 2 and 3 bedroom chalets are fully airconditioned with TV and sofa in the living while the kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, microwave, kitchen hob, kettle and rice cooker. Sekepeng Penarek offers BBQ facilities, a 1.3 meter swimming pool, a 0.5 meter kiddies pool and bicycles for rent. Arrangement can be made for Pulau Redang trip, fishing, turtle watching and snorkelling at the 3 islands including firefly excursion to the Setiu Wetland. Sultan Mahmud Airport is 43 km from the property. Shuttle service is available at a surcharge.

Sunrise view of ocean from the verandah is gorgeous. The chalet has been refurbished with new beds and sofa. New pool slide which my grandchildren enjoyed.

A truly exceptional stay. The unit is thoughtfully designed, with a spacious 2-bedroom layout that feels both comfortable and private. The King Koil mattresses (hotel-grade) made a big difference — extremely comfortable and perfect for a restful night. The fully equipped kitchen is a great touch, especially for longer stays or families. Everything you need is there. What really stands out is the overall space and layout of the resort. Even when the resort is fully occupied, it never feels crowded — the openness and greenery create a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. The 4 swimming pools are well spread out and add to the sense of exclusivity. Plenty of space for everyone. And the highlight — the view from the unit is simply superb, especially the sunrise. Calm, beautiful, and something you’ll look forward to every morning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious, and well-designed getaway.
