Overview
The Sprachcaffe is a tourist complex of unique Maltese architectural features, built in the early 20th century. Its gardens feature an outdoor swimming pool and a sandy volleyball court. Accommodation includes en suite rooms, self-catering apartments, and dormitory rooms. The common areas are a TV room, the internet café with Wi-Fi access, and a 24-hour reception. The pool are is great. Bed are OK and all rooms have aircon. The general state of the others equipment is not great but for the price I couldn't expect better.

“Positively impressed... On my list of excellent hotels!”
The location is quite central with busses a short distance away. The hotel is located in a quiet spot. Staff is very nice, and there seems to cater more for the needs of travelling students. The atmosphere is great. Most of the apartments are accessible directly from the road. They are of a good size, not too small not too large.

“Good place, 24h reception, with pool and kitchen, for affordable price”
24h reception as we arrived very late after 3am, pool, 2 bedrooms with AC each, kitchen, fridge. There is nothing to say more as we used this place to just sleep a few hours

“My best recommendations - a wonderful place with a swimming pool and friendly staff”
The location was about a 15-minute walk from a beautiful beach. The staff were very friendly, and our interactions with them left an excellent impression. They kindly allowed us to check in early, and after checking out, we were able to enjoy some relaxing time by the pool while waiting for our flight. I really liked the building itself - it had a charming, historic atmosphere. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shared kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed.

“Little haven for lots of versatile characters.”
The staff go out of their way to make everybody feel welcome and included in all activities. Nothing is too much trouble and the multi lingual talents of the majority of younger staff as well as the more mature ones really helps each visitor feel at home.

“Do NOT bring family to this dirty "party hostel" student campus”
Big pool. Although the pool is used by anybody and everybody. When we arrived there was a stage + chairs where the sunbeds would be... no heads up from reception and no idea what was going on but we didn't hang about to find out!
