The location is simply perfect, just a short stroll to the beach and in the ideal spot to watch the most breathtaking sunsets every single day. We visited during the second week of October, which turned out to be a fantastic time: the water was still warm enough for long swims, the sun was shining every day, and we often had the beach almost entirely to ourselves. It felt peaceful, relaxed, and truly magical. The accommodation itself wasn’t meant to be luxurious, but honestly, it had everything we needed and more. It was clean, comfortable, and had that authentic, simple charm that makes a vacation feel real and special. But what truly made this stay exceptional was George, our host. And I have to say this loud and clear: George is simply extraordinary. He is one of the kindest, most caring, and genuinely warm hosts we have ever met. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home. He welcomed us with the most delicious bread and local wine, and went above and beyond throughout our entire stay. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, he surprised us with delicious farewell gifts. His generosity, friendliness, and genuine hospitality made our trip unforgettable. If you're looking for a peaceful, authentic Greek getaway in a stunning location, with a host who treats you like family, this is the place to go. Amazing location with beautiful ocean view on a huge terrace. Host George is very supportive and friendly. Daily cleaning service very good. Close to the beach less then 10 minutes and small super market closed by. Anytime again.

Amazing location in a quiet part of the island which is pretty much paradise. A short walk from the beach which has a couple of bars and restaurants. Apartments are basic but have everything you need for a week away. We usually had breakfast lunch here and ate out at night. George, our host, was attentive and really welcoming. He and his staff accommodated us when our travel plans changed which we were so grateful for. I can't recommend Akis Apartments enough. There isn't hospitality like this anymore. We would love to return!

“Peaceful stay and short walk to a spacious beach”

A fully contained apartment which was so quiet and peaceful. Only the sound of waves. Our host was kind and helped us with everything we needed. Perfect 👌

Clean, quiet and walking distance to the beach. A small supermarket at 50 meters away. Gardens and rooftops are brilliant and with a sea view! George kindly gifted fresh oven baked bread, local kumkat sweets, water and even local wine!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place, just a short walk from the beach with stunning sea views. The location was perfect for a relaxing holiday, and the peaceful surroundings made it even more special. What truly made our experience exceptional was the host, George. He was incredibly kind and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure everyone was comfortable and enjoying their time. You can really tell he cares about his guests. We were very happy with everything and would definitely love to come back!

George the host was amazing, super friendly and generous. Lots of extras provided in the food line, teabags, coffee, bread, wine and fresh apricots available off the trees in his garden. Good location near a good beach, access to and from carpark was a bit difficult, but similar to other properties in the area. At least there was offstreet parking available.

“Best host ever!”

5-minute walk to the beach. One of the most helpful and kind hosts I've ever met at a Bookings accommodation (George you are the best!) The kitchen is small, but equipped with enough stuff to prepare a meal. There's a cleaning lady cleaning stuff every day. A small grocery shop is there in 1 minute walking distance.

“Lovely apartment with a stunning view”

The apartment has everything you need, from a kettle to a hairdryer, to a fully stocked kitchenette. The best thing about it is the stunning sea views and outdoor area - we loved the garden. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach (a bit hilly but worth it) and there are some restaurants and a small supermarket (which has everything you need, even plant-based milk). George is a great host, super welcoming and helpful (helped us get transport to the airport etc). We would happily stay again! P.S. if you love cats then you’ll be in for a treat!
